Red light district in Boracay, Philippines with cute and sexy Filipino girls
Everyone knows that Boracay has one of the most beautiful beaches in the Philippines (often called the whitest in the world), but there is one aspect of this island that doesn’t get much attention in mainstream travel guides and blogs: the nightlife, or more precisely: the different ways foreigners can meet young, attractive Filipino girls in Boracay. So in this guide I’ll give you a complete overview of the girl scene on the most popular tourist destination in the Philippines, and where to find the best bars, nightclubs, massage salons, etc.The best thing about going to Boracay as a single Westerner is that you can meet attractive and open-minded Filipino girls who are here for vacation (and are adventurous), as well as various prostitutes who will ask for cash to join you at your hostel, but then you really know how to please you and make you feel good. Besides that, you’ll see countless incredibly hot and beautiful Korean girls everywhere, but 95% of them come with their boyfriends, so it’s usually just a look. But believe it or not, there are even a few Korean prostitutes who frequent the bars and clubs, and Coco Bar in particular seems to be popular because they hang out a lot (see below).
Boracay Nightlife Overview
To give you a quick overview of the nightlife scene in Boracay, so you know a little before we jump into the categories: 95% of all nightlife venues on the island are located near White Beach. This is the most developed, most beautiful (but obviously also the most crowded) beach where most of the hotels and guesthouses are located.
White Beach is divided into 3 “stations” to orient tourists and simplify communication with tricycle drivers about where to drop off. Most of the bars, clubs, restaurants, and massage salons are located between Stations 1 and 2, in the middle to southern part of the beach. Needless to say, if nightlife is one of your top priorities (which it certainly is), then it’s best not to stop at Station 2. No station is more expensive than the others, but obviously, the closer the hotel is to the beach, the more expensive the rooms will be.
With that said, let’s jump into the different types of places to party and meet Filipino girls in Boracay.
Girly Bars in Boracay
While there are no bikini bars or KTVs in Boracay that hire foreign men to entertain girls like in Cebu, what you actually find are several bars that attract freelance girls. The top spot in this category by far is Cocomangas in Station 1 (picture), the longest-running bar in Boracay (since 1987) and the most famous girly bar on the island.
You can imagine it like this: a few dozen girls hanging out at the bar, waiting for someone to make eye contact and invite them for a drink. Since the bar doesn't employ them, there's no such thing as lady drinks, you just pay for what's on the menu (they usually ask for San Mig Light, San Mig Flavored, or Whiskey Coke). Unlike most other bars, it's actually best to come to Cocomangas early, around 9pm, to get the best girls.
The only annoying thing about this place is the setup: there's a big dance floor (which tends to get busy with western tourists around midnight), but very few tables and chairs around the bar, where all the girls hang out. Again, don't come too late or you won't be able to find a place to sit near the girls.
Prices: Happy hour every day until 9:30pm, a bottle of drink is 100 pesos, otherwise a beer is about 70 pesos, spirits are about 160 pesos, cocktails are about 170 pesos, and buckets of wine are about 370 pesos with 12 drinks. The girls usually want about 2,500 pesos for a short time, but if you get along well with them, they will most likely agree to about 1,500 pesos. But this means you will talk to her first and buy her a drink or two.
Regular Bars with Girls in Boracay
Of course, there are also many bars along the Beach Walk, especially around Station 2. Unlike Cocomangas, Filipino girls tend to go to these bars around 10-11pm. Before that, you will find almost all Western and Asian tourists drinking, chatting, and watching the constant flow of people walking along the Beach Walk.
One of the most eye-catching bars here is Coco Bar, which makes you feel like you are in the jungle when you first arrive, but the whole bar and furniture are very modern, and the red lights make the atmosphere very exciting. This is one of the most popular places for freelance girls to hang out and look for customers while they play. Right next to Coco is the Exit Bar, which tends to get busy after midnight, but then there are more Filipino girls partying, which means both freelancers and tourists from Manila are welcome.
Prices: Beer is cheap, around 70-80 pesos as always, whiskey and cocktails are around double the price of 150 pesos. And if you want to take a Filipino working girl back to your hotel for sex, realistic prices are between 1,000-2,000 pesos.
Nightclubs in Boracay
The line between bars and nightclubs in Boracay is very thin. Some places may even look like a regular romantic beach restaurant at night, but if you go back there at midnight, it suddenly turns into a loud and busy open-air nightclub with a DJ and laser show stage all over the place. Epic and probably the most visited club on the island. One of the main reasons for this is that because it is almost all outdoors, even if you don't pay for incidentals, you can still buy a beer at a nearby bar and chat with dozens of people on the Beach Walk.
Summer Place has a different concept. It's also on the Beach Walk between Stations 2 and 3, but it's all indoors and you need to pay an entrance fee to get in. It's hard to say what the best nightclub is on Boracay because it depends on the night, so I'd just recommend walking along the Beach Walk and seeing what you like, from Station 2 to Station 1, which is where Club Paraw is located in an otherwise quieter area with mostly restaurants (and Cocomangas across the street).
Prices: There's usually no cover charge, except at Epic (300 Pesos, including 2 drinks) and Summer Place (300 Pesos, not including drinks). Local beer 80-90 Pesos (San Miguel Pilsner, San Miguel Lighthouse, Red Horse), international beer 220 Pesos (i.e. Heineken), whiskey 160-180 Pesos, JW Red 1,700 Pesos, Jack Daniels 4,500 Pesos. Prices vary from place to place, but this is the current price range.
Boracay Sex Ending Massage
The truth is, while you will find countless small massage salons on White Beach, the chances of getting a happy ending in Boracay are very low. A lot different compared to Thailand. This is quite surprising because many girls are saying "Massage sir? Only 300 pesos for an hour" and you can't help but think that they are willing to give you a "special" service in exchange for some tips.
But what do you usually experience when you ask them "Can you get a massage here?"? Usually just a simple "No sir" followed by an explanation that her boss doesn't allow it or she has never done it and doesn't want to. I'm not saying it's impossible to get a happy ending in Boracay, but it does depend on the girl and how well you get along. I've highlighted two places in blue that tend to have more young and attractive girls than others.
Prices: 250-350 pesos for a one-hour "Swedish massage" (basically an oil massage, which is what you should go for if you want a happy ending; it's the most popular service anyway). A reasonable recommendation for a special (hand job) is 500-1,000 pesos.
Meet girls in Boracay during the day
You don’t really need to wait until sunset to meet a nice and single lady in Boracay – and you certainly don’t have to pay for sex if you don’t want to. If you read my blog sometimes, you probably know anyway that I always recommend using dating sites as the best way to date Filipino girls, and this is especially true in Boracay, where people take out their phones, get bored, and look for someone to hang out with the next day.
And you don’t even have to rely on that dating site. Take my visit to the island last month to update this nightlife guide: I was just sitting on the boat in Caticlan, waiting for other people to come in, when this hot 20-something chick looked around for a place to sit. I smiled and offered her the seat next to me. It took a lot of time to break the ice, and it turned out that she was an office worker from Manila, on vacation in Boracay alone. You might think I was lucky, but the fact is that stories like this happen all the time in Boracay, and everyone is on vacation.
Before you start small talk you can even walk around D'Mall and the little shops on the street or ask the girl on the beach to take your picture and then start some small talk like if she is from here, how long she has been, what she is doing, if she knows a good restaurant and then take it from there.
Ladyboys in Boracay
Boracay is definitely not a paradise for transgender lovers, but if you're really looking for one, it's still possible to meet some sexy ones. I'll cover this topic in more detail in another article, but to give you a general overview: three good places to meet transgender people in Boracay are Coco Bar, Massage Salon and just on the beach, they seem to like swimming on the northern part of the white sand beach near the Santa Maria statue.
