Three-day trip to Okinawa, stay at Universal City Beach Resort

For the last two days of Okinawa, I chose the Universal City Beach Resort. It cost about 4,800 yen to take a taxi from downtown Naha. Our room was on the 8th floor of the South Building. It was very pleasant to sit on the balcony of the room and enjoy the sea. We arranged to play the marine activities on the 3rd, but there was a tsunami warning on that day, and all the marine activities were closed, which was a little regretful.

There are several swimming pools in the hotel, and towels, swimming rings and other supplies are available for rent in the outdoor small shop. Since the hotel is located in a remote area, people without cars can only eat in the hotel. I strongly recommend the buffet on the first floor of the north side. This restaurant only provides breakfast and lunch. The lunch is really nice, with a wide variety of food, very good taste, and a reasonable price.

Other dinners need to be booked in advance with the front desk. The first day was Italian food. The menu has two set meals, 13,500-16,500 yen per person. If you don’t want a set meal, you can also order it a la carte. The second night was the most popular BBQ in the hotel. There is only one set meal, 11,000 yen per person, outdoor barbecue, full of atmosphere. You can ask the hotel to book a taxi for you in advance when you check out. It is quite convenient and the fare is about 4,500 yen.
