A hotel in the middle of nowhere, in the small town of Santander, you can go to Oslob to watch whale sharks without any trouble~The hotel manager Ben is a diving instructor, he is very nice and can help you refresh for free. The hotel is small with only seven or eight rooms, very quiet, and the manager will drive you there when you go out. The price is much lower than that of Mobao and Oslob.
Scuba diving to watch whale sharks does not require queuing, 1700p including equipment. It is 1.5 hours away from Mobao and 4.5 hours away from Cebu Airport, at the southernmost part of Cebu Island. You can take a boat to Sumilon, there is canyoneering next to it, and you can also order a massage at the hotel for only 600p.
