Philippines ink treasure, you can watch the sardine storm even if you can't swim

First of all, this travel guide to Moalboal is suitable for those who don't know how to scuba/free dive or even swim, so there will be no diving skills such as franzo, BTV, duck dive, etc.

Take you to the hometown of sardines - Moalboal, Philippines. You don't need to try your luck or buy tickets. You can see the sardine storm by lying on the water.

How to get to Moalboal? Moalboal is located in the south of Cebu Island, about 3 hours by car. There are 3 ways to start from Cebu:
Taxi/charter: A taxi costs about 2500-3500P one way. If you want to go back and forth on the same day, it is recommended to charter a car.
One-day tour group: The advantage of the group is that it is worry-free, of course, it will be more expensive than renting a car to go to Moalboal.
Bus: Buy a ticket at the South Bus Terminal next to SMmall in the city, 200P/person, about 4 hours to Bato, and change to a tutu (100P) car to the pier after getting off the bus.
The above times are all estimates without traffic jams. We set off at 4:30 to avoid the morning and evening rush hours in Cebu.

What to do in Moalboal? Panagsama Beach, sardines are near this beach. Look for places with a lot of people around. Wear a mask and lie on the water to see the sardine storm. Those who can't swim can wear a life jacket. Those who can swim can chase the fish!
Talisay, there are sea turtles in the shallow waters near the shore. There are not many, but you can see them up close by snorkeling.
White Beach, a 25-meter white sand beach that stretches all the way, where you can see starfish and sea fans.
Pescador Island, famous for its corals, you can see Nemo clownfish by snorkeling. You need to rent a boat to hop islands. Find a guide at the pier to talk. The half-day trip is not expensive.

You can also play these if you live in Moalboal. Go to Olsob to swim with whale sharks. It takes 1.5 hours to go. The number of whale sharks is more than Lila in Bohol. It takes half a day to go back and forth. Canyon tracing Kawasan Falls, 1 hour one way, you can jump waterfalls and tracing rivers.

Advanced tips
You can bring an underwater camera to take photos of fish storms and sea turtles. If you don’t have one, you can rent one on site. 800P includes the photo. If you want to take good photos, it is recommended to go earlier and deeper. If there are too many people, the water will be muddy and affect visibility.
