I transited in Jakarta for one night and chose the Hermitage Hotel under Marriott. It was a brief experience of Jakarta.1. Transportation🚘
The hotel is about 34 kilometers away from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, 35 minutes by car, and it may take 1 hour in traffic jams.
The normal taxi fare should be more than 220,000, but the price from the airport may be higher.
2. Location and surroundings🏨
The hotel is located in a wealthy area, right? Although the surrounding houses and buildings are beautiful, Jakarta is really not suitable for city strolls. There are few pedestrians crossing the road, traffic lights and zebra crossings, and the sidewalk is also very uneven. It can be said that there is a small pit every three steps and a big pit every five steps. There are not many businesses near the hotel, and it is far to change money. The restaurants and cafes for eating are also more expensive.
3. Hotel services💂
The services are all good. You will say hello when entering and leaving. When you get off the car, there will be staff to help you take the luggage. When you check in at the front desk, you will be given a glass of juice to cool down, and then the luggage will be delivered directly to the room. When you leave, you can ask the hotel to help you make an appointment for a taxi in advance. When you take a taxi, the vehicle will be tested for explosion-proof first.
4. Rooms and facilities🏠
The hotel has a swimming pool and a gym, both on the 9th floor. You need to swipe the room card to enter the guest room area, and you also need to swipe the card to enter the elevator. The privacy is good. The sofa and bed in the room are very comfortable to lie on, very suitable for lying flat. However, the curtains are not very light-blocking, and it is recommended to wear an eye mask if necessary! There is no minibar in the room, and the toilet is facing a wall, and the space is very small. Going to the toilet feels like facing the wall.

The terrace on the 9th floor is unique, and you can enjoy the unobstructed city skyline. If the weather is good and the sunset is beautiful, it is recommended to enjoy the sunset skyline on the rooftop with the evening breeze, which is very good!
6. Breakfast☕️
There are not many things in the buffet, but you can order English breakfast and the like separately. The taste feels quite satisfactory.
