Highly recommended food in Bangkok that you can never go wrong eating with your eyes closed!
Before I went to Bangkok, all I wanted about Thailand was tropical fruits and delicious and cheap Thai food. There was no way, the first thing I did every time I went there was to think about what I wanted to eat, and then I planned the corresponding itinerary. . The same goes for going out this time. I didn’t think much about where to go before, but I had to eat what I wanted. This time I set off a little hastily. I carefully read several articles on two public accounts and videos of foodie foreigners Chang Le and Uncle Bai in Bangkok. Because there were so many delicious food, after several painful struggles and choices, I finally decided on it. Practice has proved that the recommendations in these articles and videos are quite reliable for the restaurants I want to eat in these days. Below I will list the restaurants I have eaten and found them delicious by region, so that you can make them easier when traveling. choose. For the convenience of everyone’s search, the names of the hotels mentioned in the article are as follows:
1. tom yum goong banglamphu
2. Mit ko yuan restaurant
3. Kor panich mango with sticky rice
4. Nattaporn ice cream
5. Pork knuckle rice
6. Prince Theater Pork Porridge
7. jeh o chula
8. t&k seafood
On the first day of my stay, I stayed near Khao San Road. This restaurant is only 300 meters away from my hotel. It is a family-run food stall that has been open for more than 30 years. The menu only has a few simple pages and the prices are very affordable. Promise me, if you go to Khao San Road, you must come to this restaurant to drink Tom Yum soup. The Tom Yum soup in this restaurant is the best I have tasted in Thailand for a few days. The soup is not clear, but is made from Thai big head shrimp. The shrimp paste inside is also very fresh and chewy, and the taste is very rich and appetizing. In addition to Tom Yum Goong soup, I also ordered a garlic shrimp. This garlic shrimp is also amazing. It is stir-fried with fried garlic oil and has a slightly sweet taste. The shrimp head is crispy and the shrimp meat is wrapped in the flavor of garlic and... The aroma of fried shrimp shells makes you want to lick your fingers after eating it. I really regret not going to this restaurant again. I didn’t order a few more dishes that day because I had to go for another meal. Now that I think about it, I still slap my thighs.

2.Mit ko yuan restaurant
There are a lot of delicious food near the Democracy Monument in the Grand Palace. It is recommended that you take a taxi to the Democracy Monument after visiting the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. There are many delicious food options nearby. I ate at four restaurants in one afternoon, and then I couldn't stand it any longer. I went for a massage and a jio, and then I regained my health and continued eating.
3. Kor panich mango with sticky rice
After finishing the main course, you can go for dessert. There are several mango stalls in front of this store, but you can't find them if you don't look carefully. After you enter, the store will set up a small table for you and thoughtfully give you a glass of ice water. This mango sticky rice restaurant is said to have been in business for more than 80 years. It only uses freshly made glutinous rice every day, and the recipe for making sticky rice is specially used by the royal family. Of course, the mangoes are also of the best quality in the local area, and the taste is of course the same. The mango tastes fibrous and has a moderate sweetness. It doesn’t feel overly sweet. The aroma of the mango is very strong. The glutinous rice is topped with coconut milk. It’s salty and sweet. One bite of mango and one bite of glutinous rice makes you feel happy. For forehead, one portion shared by two people is just right.
4.Nattaporn ice cream
After eating mango sticky rice, there is an ice cream shop just three minutes away that locals go to. When we went there, there were many soldiers eating there. I ordered mango flavor and coconut flavor. The coconut flavor is more delicious. It is more like smoothie than ice cream. The coconut flavor is very strong. After taking one bite, I feel that the surrounding temperature has dropped by at least 3 degrees while eating coconut ice cream. While avoiding the sun, I hope that time will stand still at this moment.
5.Kura apsorn
Kura apsorn This restaurant was selected as one of the 2019 Michelin Guides. Its address is not far from the Democracy Monument. I heard that the owner of this restaurant used to be the royal chef who cooked for the king. The restaurant is very clean and the air conditioning is turned on very well. You can enjoy the food Later, I got goosebumps. We ordered curry crab, Thai chicken wings, and stir-fried shrimp with stinky beans. It is worth mentioning that the curry crab in this restaurant is shellless, so it is very enjoyable to eat. But I don’t think the overall taste is particularly amazing, and the curry crab is not as good as the T&K seafood I ate later in Chinatown. However, this restaurant has a rich variety of dishes and a very good environment in the store. You can eat several must-eat Thai dishes in one meal, so it is especially suitable for those who want to have a meal with elders and children who don’t want to eat at street food stalls. Friends who want to eat more dishes.
6.Pork Knuckle Rice Shilongjun Road, Samyang Market, Pratunam (near Chulalongkorn University)
This pork knuckle rice restaurant on Shilongjun Road can be said to be an internet celebrity. Many people have recommended it. I had high expectations before going there. I thought how delicious the pork knuckle would be and whether it would be better than the pork knuckle in Taipei Pork Knuckle Rice. It was delicious, but when I arrived, I found that there were many people queuing up. I also waited in line for a long time, and then I realized that I was mentally retarded. This queue was for takeout, and there was no need to queue up to eat in the store. There were several set meals in the store. We ordered pork trotter rice and pork knuckles. We took a bite with high hopes and found that it was just like that. The taste was a bit bland. Then we dipped it in their store's dipping sauce and felt that the taste had improved and changed. It's very refreshing, but it's just very refreshing pig's feet. You can try it when passing by without going out of your way to eat it.
7.Prince Cinema Pork Porridge
After eating the pig's trotter rice, on the way to the iconsiam mall pier, I happened to see the famous Prince's Pork Porridge, so I went in to try it. The ingredients of this pork porridge are very delicious, and the pork balls are very fragrant, but I can't eat the porridge base. It has a mushy smell, so you can try it if you're passing by, but it's not worth a trip just to eat.
8.jeh o chula
This restaurant is really worth talking about. Before going to Bangkok, after watching Uncle Bai’s video and Xiaohongshu’s recommendation, this restaurant has become a must-go food in Bangkok. I was looking forward to it before going there. , this store only sells the most famous mama noodles after ten o'clock in the evening. This noodle was first cooked in mama brand instant noodles with the leftover ingredients in the store every day, including seafood, eggs, pork neck, and finally this The dish has become the signature of this store. It was already 9:30 in the evening when we went there, and it was raining again. There were no seats at the outdoor tables. In addition, everyone was sitting around, waiting for mama noodles after 10 o'clock, which led to a high table turnover rate. It was so low that we waited until midnight to eat it, and it was worth it after the first bite! This noodle is perfect for a late-night snack. The tom yum flavored soup base is appetizing and refreshing, and I can’t stop eating it. The salmon sashimi salad is also delicious. Lemon juice is paired with mint leaves and garlic. The seasoning is very Thai. The meat is also fresh and goes well with beer. Compared with these two dishes, the fried pork neck and fried chicken wings are very average. I find that Thai fried food likes to be dry and burnt. Personally, I prefer the fried food that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. So I don’t recommend it.
9.Chinatown t&k seafood
If you come to Thailand and only want to eat one meal, then I recommend you to eat T&K Seafood, because this food stall is on the roadside. While eating, you can watch the pedestrians and traffic passing by, and drink beer while eating. Watching the sunset over Chinatown. The key point is that the curry crab here is so delicious, so delicious that you can lick the plate. I remember Chang Le also gave this restaurant a very good review in the program "Foodie Foreigner". The price is also cheap. You can order a curry. Crab, a plate of fried rice, a Tom Yum soup, a grilled big head shrimp, a bottle of beer, and then slowly experience the leisurely evening in Bangkok.
There are many delicious foods in Chinatown, such as the famous satay meat skewers, but because I really didn’t have the stomach to eat it after dinner and there were a lot of people queuing up, I didn’t try it. You can eat less every meal in Chinatown. Take a stroll because there are so many delicious things to eat.
It has been so long since I wrote this article that I have forgotten many of the restaurants I wanted to recommend to you, but in this case the restaurants that I can remember are the most memorable and delicious ones! I recommend it to everyone. I hope everyone can eat and have fun when they go to Bangkok and follow my recommendations with their eyes closed!
