Travel notes🏍️ of Tham Khao Luang, Phra Nakhon Khiri and Khrua Huai Sai around Hua Hin
There are not many things to do in Hua Hin. We wanted to rent a car on the first day we arrived, because the sun was too strong. We asked the hotel owner and he said there were no cars for rent, so we had to continue to travel by motorcycle.1. Phra Nakhon Khiri (Khao Wang)
After breakfast, we rode 68 kilometers from Hua Hin to Phetchaburi Province just to see the "city in the mountains" - Khao Wang Palace. Khao Wang Palace is the first summer palace in Thailand. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can overlook the entire city. There is a feeling of being the king of the world. There are many monkeys at the foot of the mountain. The staff said not to feed them food. Finally, when we went down the mountain, the water was taken away.

Wat Maha Samanaram Ratchaworawihan (Wat Khao Wang) (You can walk up from here, the ticket is 150 baht/person)
🕒Time: 08:30-16:30 every day
2. Tham Khao Luang
Not far from Khao Wang Palace, there is a naturally formed stalactite cave--Khao Luang Cave (Khao Luang Cave) was built by Rama V to commemorate King Rama IV of Thailand. He often chanted scriptures here. The ticket is 10 baht/person. It is not far to the left of the entrance. Go through a particularly inconspicuous small door, and then go down the steps to enter the cave. Inside is a super large stalactite cave. If you catch the sunlight shining through the cave roof into the cave, it is mysterious and sacred~

3. Khrua Huai Sai
After visiting the above two attractions, you can return. If you don’t have lunch at noon, you can eat it on the way back. The key is that it’s early and you don’t have to wait for a table. This restaurant specializes in Thai seafood, and the taste is really good. The crab legs are made of real crab legs, but they are really spicy! The first time I was driven crazy by the spicy taste of Khrua. Butter fried scallops, sweet and sour prawns, fried fish (less bones), plus two drinks and a bottle of water. The two of us finished it all, a total of 1320 baht, which is definitely not affordable in Phuket. Generally speaking, this restaurant is affordable and close to the people~
PS. The rice is free at this restaurant, just right for eating Khrua
