Phuket Hanuman World Zipline Jungle Zipline, It’s Not Scary at All!

There are quite a few companies that do jungle ziplining in Phuket. "Flying Hanuman" and "Hanuman World" belong to the same group and are the two largest jungle ziplining companies. This time I signed up for the "Hanuman World Jungle Zipline", which has a full score on TripAdvisor. You can play ordinary ziplines (Zipline), vertical rappelling, skywalks, and a thrilling roller coaster (pulley zipline). Piaoer didn't buy it in advance because she was afraid of it because she had never played it before, but after playing the jungle zipline, she strongly recommended buying the "Roller Coaster" because the jungle zipline is really not that scary, and the speed of Hanuman World is not fast. Compared with the Fury and the Roller Coaster, it is really like riding a faster aerial cable car, so don't be afraid, the fear is all imagined!

Hanuman World offers three types of jungle zip lines, plus a "roller coaster" that you must purchase if you like excitement:

World A package: This includes meals, has more zip lines, and takes 3 hours

World B package: Piaoer is a beginner and a little timid, so I bought this package, which does not include meals and has fewer zip lines. For people with acrophobia, the 1.5 hours of package B is just right. I would feel a little overwhelmed if it were longer, but it is not exciting at all. It would be a little bit not enough, so I strongly recommend buying the "roller coaster" and sprint to the last three minutes to enjoy it!

World C package: The time is shorter than B, and it is not recommended at all. Driving so far to choose this is like not having fun!

The Hanuman World Jungle Zipline itinerary includes hotel pick-up. We booked the 10:00 session and stayed at Beyond Patong in Patong. The driver came to pick us up at 9:00. However, when we received the voucher after booking the trip, we were already in Phuket and could only see it on our phone. The meeting time on the voucher was written very small, so small that we looked for it three times but couldn't see it. It was because we went downstairs to eat at 9:00 and the hotel staff told us that the driver was here. Otherwise, everyone might have been left alone while eating in the restaurant. So everyone must carefully check your meeting time!

After driving for more than half an hour to the Jungle Zipline location, follow the crowd to the counter to check in. The on-site staff can speak both Chinese and English. You need to sign for insurance, and then you will get the bracelet that comes with the package you bought. The fruit meals, jungle zipline, and Roller coaster in the middle of the sky walk will have different colored bracelets. Then wait in the waiting area for your coach to take you to change clothes. There are about four to five coaches in each team, and there will only be 10 tourists in a group. The small group will set off first to help everyone fasten the safety equipment and helmets. Please obey the instructor's commands completely, because it is related to life safety!

Then a leader will explain all the safety instructions. You can choose Chinese or English. The most important thing is to never touch or unlock the safety lock casually if you want to stay alive!

Then we will take photos for everyone. Here, we will take a photo of us to talk about the equipment recommendations for the jungle zipline:

Clothing: First of all, high heels, high-soled shoes, and loose slippers are not allowed, so Piaoer later bought a pair of rubber-soled shoes on the spot. It is recommended to wear loose and breathable shorts. Tie your hair up like Piaoer, which is safe and will not be hot.

Go Pro: If you bring a Go Pro like Xiao V, the coach will help you fix it on the helmet. If you want to use a selfie stick, you can, but you must put the rope on your hand. If you really fall into the tree, the coach will not fly down to help you get it.

Photography: For safety reasons, don't bring a camera. There will actually be staff on site to help take photos. The photo in Piaoer's article is the USB that I bought. We paid 1,200 baht for two people at the time, which is a bit expensive, but this is Phuket, and tourists use it to snow!

World B package content: 16 platforms, 9 zip lines, 3 vertical rappels, 1 sky bridge, 1 hanging ladder, 1 honeymoon loop zip line

Then climb a short slope and get on the tree platform to start ziplining! The instructor will start with a short distance, and the distance will be longer as you go on, and you will feel like Tarzan swinging through the forest.

You can choose to hold it with your hands, or you can let go of one hand to get a more flying feeling, but Piao'er didn't dare to let go of both hands, and Xiao V was a little difficult to control the direction with both hands, because he brought a Go Pro to take pictures. Later, you can ask the coach to play backwards, and the coach will lift your feet very high and push them out, and the sprint feeling will be higher and more fun.

The zipline part was actually a bit resistant at the beginning, after all, there was a very high jungle below, but the speed of flying out was actually very slow. Piao'er, who was afraid of heights, of course shouted the whole time and became the happy fruit of our group. It seemed that everyone was excited as long as they heard someone shouting, and everyone thought I was having fun, but in fact I was just very scared! But it's really not that scary, because when you fly, you don't pay attention to the height at all, and it's not as fast as a roller coaster. Instead, you enjoy the scenery of the rainforest. Maybe hang gliding feels the same way! (But I still won't play it!)

The vertical rappelling that I was originally most afraid of is actually not scary at all, because it is not like rushing straight down like playing Rampage. It is more like hanging a heavy object and slowly lowering it. When rappelling, you don’t look down, but at the scenery around you.

The last short-distance zipline is a double zipline, which can be played by fathers and sons, couples, and sisters.

After the zipline, because we didn't sign up for the Roller, we went directly to the "Sky Walk", which is to walk on the viaduct trail in the jungle to feel the nature. Halfway through the walk, because our wristband includes meals, we can also eat fruits and drink drinks to cool off.

If you add the Roller, it is also strongly recommended, because everyone else in our group has added it. It is about a three-minute zipline-type roller coaster. It is super exciting just to watch. It will keep shaking you along the way. Even the uncle who didn't scream during the zipline screamed super high. However, it is not recommended to bring any 3C products to this facility, unless you tie a Go Pro to your helmet like us.

After playing, you can go to the restaurant for dinner if you buy the A package. If you want to go back to the city to eat good food like us, you can go directly to the tent of the "Hotel Bus Transfer" to wait for the bus. You can also buy photos taken by the photographer here. The quality is what you can see in this article!

The above is Piaoer’s first experience with the jungle zipline. When I watched everyone playing it a long time ago, I felt very scared and anxious in front of the screen, and it seemed very fast. But after actually playing it, it was really like experiencing the feeling of slowly gliding in the jungle, and there was no sense of stalling. It was an enjoyable activity. Of course, for those who are pursuing the thrill of high-altitude bungee jumping, the jungle zipline may not be as exciting as you imagine, but it is still very relaxing!
