Tokyo Suburbs Travel Naritasan Omotesando🌸, an old Japanese street lined with shops

A good place near Narita Airport - Naritasan Omotesando. It is an old Japanese street similar to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka. There are shops along the street where you can buy some cute little things. There are also century-old eel rice and specialty shops. If you have half a day before catching the flight, it is enough to come here for a walk, eat and shop. Going deeper, there are also Omotesando Park and Shinshoji Temple with very beautiful scenery. There are groups of cherry blossoms and red maples in the park. It feels that it should be very shocking during the red leaf season or cherry blossom season.

We stayed in Chiba. Since we had a whole day free but didn’t want to go too far, we chose to come here to eat and shop for half a day. Take the Narita Line (Narita Airport Direction) from JR Chiba Station to Narita Airport Station, and walk 5 minutes according to the map to see Omotesando.

Internet celebrity 100-year-old eel Ikawa Feng: We actually just happened to pass by and saw a lot of customers (but no queues). I suddenly realized that this was the 100-year-old brand that I had seen many people recommend, so I went in without hesitation to solve lunch. The eels that were killed and grilled were indeed very fresh and delicious, and the service was also very good. Recommended! If there are a lot of customers queuing for dine-in, you can also choose to take away the bento and eat it in the small pavilion in the park.

After lunch, we walked all the way to Shinshoji Temple. This temple is very large, with several temples, as well as some museums and art galleries. The architectural style is very beautiful, plus there are still some unfallen cherry blossoms, which are quite outstanding. From Shinshoji Temple, you can walk all the way through the park. There are maps at every corner. Pay attention to your time and walk closer to spring. For the return trip, just walk back to the JR station along the same route. It is very convenient to go to the airport or return to Chiba. The whole trip and lunch take about 3-4 hours.
