The more concentrated red-light districts are Soi Cowboy, Nana and Patpong, and this article mainly introduces these three red-light districts.
1.Soi Cowboy
How to get there: You can take the BTS to ASOK, or the MRT to Sukumvite Station, and then cross the road. You can download Google Maps and search for "soi cowboy" to navigate there, and then look for the red sign above.
Soi Cowboy is always flashing with colorful neon lights at night. Soi Cowboy is not an official street name, but it is called that because it has something to do with the history of the area. It is said that in 1977, a US Air Force veteran opened a bar here. He always wore a cowboy hat, shuttled through the alleys and greeted the customers. Because his image was so distinct, a reporter working at Bangkok Post at the time called the place Soi Cowboy, and this nickname has been used to this day.
There are more than 40 bars of all sizes here, including more than 20 gogobars.

Advantages of Cowboy Street: convenient transportation and easy to reach; there are several gogobars with pretty girls, the Ladyboy bar is clearly marked and there are few transvestites, there are tourist police at both entrances, it is relatively safe, and there are some good massage parlors nearby.
Disadvantages of Cowboy Street: The prices of drinks for girls are slightly higher. In recent years, there are more and more "coyote girls" in Cowboy Street gogobars, which means: they simply want you to drink to earn Ladydrink money, but will not go out with you in the end.
2. Nana Plaza / Soi 4
Unlike Soi Cowboy, Nana Soi 4 is not just a lane, but an entire street filled with gogo bars, beer bars, and various other nightlife and entertainment venues.
Compared to Soi Cowboy, Nana Street is slightly cheaper overall. If you find a seat at the bar opposite the Nana Hotel, you can experience the glamorous side of Bangkok's nightlife.
There are many streetwalkers here. If you are single or walking on the street with a few male friends, they will come up to you and solicit you. The price usually starts at 1,000฿/hour, but it is not recommended to find streetwalkers to avoid being scammed and being tricked. There are more than a dozen hotels on Soi 4 that offer hourly rooms, which means you can easily take a gogo girl as a st or lt, and usually they will not ask you for any additional fees except for the room fee. Nana Plaza is located at the entrance of the street. It is a three-story building full of gogo bars and beer bars.
Unlike Cowboy Street, Nana Plaza does not have ladyboy labels. Many bars are directly mixed with gogo bars (girls and transsexuals). As a new driver, it is difficult to distinguish.
Nana Plaza has more than 50 bars of all sizes, including more than 20 gogo bars.

Nana Street Advantages: Diverse nightlife, moderate prices.
Nana Street Disadvantages: There are many ladyboys in bars and on the streets. It is difficult for new drivers to distinguish them.
3. Patpong
Today, Patpong Street is more like a night market, but there are gogo bars and beer bars of all sizes scattered in various alleys.
I don't really recommend this place because there are too many scams (such as coyotes, ping pong show scams, etc.), and its reputation has been ruined over the years. It's nice to visit the night market, but if you want to play gogobars, I still recommend Nana and Cowboy.
