🐝About The Hive
▫️Completed in 2015, the building is designed to provide a space for self-study and communication for teachers and students
▫️The design is inspired by the steamers in Chinese teahouses, which are stacked together to form 12 cylindrical elements
▫️There is no main entrance or door, and you can enter the atrium from all directions
▫️The transparent atrium design not only connects the space, but also copes with Singapore's high temperature and high humidity climate all year round
▫️The 56 circular classrooms in the building have no obvious front and back, and embrace every corner openly, breaking the traditional stereotyped and serious form
