πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬ Swissotel The Stamford, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Shangri-La Hotel, Sentosa

During this ten-day trip to Singapore, I stayed in three hotels, all of which are highly recommended. Swissotel the Stamford, PARKROYAL on Pickering, and Shangri-La, Sentosa, each hotel for 3-4 nights.

1. Swissotel the Stamford (Picture 9-12)

The standard room is 40+ square meters, each bed in the twin room is 137cm wide, which can accommodate two adults and two children, and the bed in the double room is 193cm wide. In Singapore, where every inch of land is valuable, the room and bed are very large. The 18-year-old decoration is relatively new, modern and clean. The room is the most comfortable of the three. Good location and convenient transportation. Connected to Raffles Mall, City Hill MRT Station is downstairs, and the National Gallery is a 10-minute walk away. It is not far from Sands, Merlion, and Gardens by the Bay.

Breakfast: It belongs to the same group as the Fairmont Hotel, sharing three breakfast restaurants. I stayed in a different restaurant every day for four nights. The breakfast categories are not much different and are quite satisfactory. Colve is slightly better in terms of environment, brighter and more spacious. Prego is decorated in Italian style, and the breakfast at Asian market cafe is the same as the other two hotels. The two circular swimming pools are shared with Fairmont Hotel, which is quite standard. Swissotel The Stamford has a higher floor height than Fairmont, and the view is relatively good.

2. PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering (Picture 1-8)

The whole hotel is surrounded by green plants, and the building has been on many magazines. As soon as you enter the lobby, you can see a large cluster of white Phalaenopsis potted plants, which is very elegant. The room is relatively compact, and the most common room type is only 28 square meters. The decoration in 2013 is relatively simple. Located in Chinatown, about 1.5 kilometers away from Swissotel The Stamford, it is very convenient for eating and traveling.

The breakfast is very rich, slightly better than Swissotel The Stamford, and the dining environment is my favorite among the three hotels I stayed in. The infinity pool is very beautiful, but it is a little small. Guests staying at the hotel can also rent the hotel's bicycles for free. You should know that shared bicycles in Singapore are expensive and inconvenient, and most areas do not have them. You can bring a children's bicycle for 20 yuan and a half an hour. The return location is quite inaccurate and may take half an hour to find.

3. Sentosa Shangri-La (Picture 13-18)

The basic room type is 32 square meters, and the 10-year-old decoration looks very old. But it is the only parent-child hotel on Sentosa Island that enjoys a beach. The view of the sea view room is still good. The transportation is also very convenient, with free buses and battery cars at the door. The breakfast is very rich, but the environment is old and dim. There are water slides, swimming pools and water activities for children, and a private beach, the first choice for parents and children.
