On Lok Yun in Bangkok, a Michelin-starred restaurant with 90 years of history

One of the most satisfying and unforgettable meals during my trip to Bangkok was at this super old restaurant! On Lok Yun has been in business since 1933, and it has a history of 90 years. The store maintains its original appearance, with retro style, old furniture, old-fashioned breakfast, etc. All of this brings us, the customers, a strong sense of the old-fashioned flavor.

Ordering and serving here is very fast, so people come in and out, and you can get your turn quickly even if you queue outside. (I queued for 20 minutes). When I was arranged to sit inside, they also served us welcome tea! Super considerate! Their menu has a main feature similar to big breakfast, which is to mix and match your rich breakfast ingredients (sausage, ham, bacon, eggs, sausage, etc.), so that you can eat every good ingredient at once to replenish energy and continue to visit Bangkok. The other is toast. We ordered steamed bread with their homemade kaya and butter sugar bread. Their kaya is not as strong as that in Malaysia, with a light fragrance and not strong taste, but the taste is ok. Another highly recommended bread with sugar on it! Super delicious! The fine sugar makes me keep eating. One plate is not enough! The coffee is also good~ But I still prefer it stronger.

Many locals come here to eat, it is definitely not a place that just deceives tourists. If I go to Bangkok again, I will come back to eat their breakfast! The point is that the boss and employees are super good, very considerate and nice! There is no reason not to come again after experiencing good service and delicious breakfast, right?
