A must-eat food in Tokyo, the super popular 100-year-old fifth generation Hanayama Udon
The fifth generation of Hanayama Udon, which won the first place in the Udon Contest for three consecutive years, is very popular in Tokyo. Especially the Yintai branch! There is a long queue every day, so we found the Nihonbashi branch closer to the hotel. We arrived at around 10:50, and there was already a long queue outside waiting for the store to open at 11 o'clock. Fortunately, we caught up with the crowd and went in.Ordered the signature dipping noodles, 5cm wide udon noodles, which tasted like eating noodles and dumpling skins, QQ and chewy, super smooth. The sesame dipping sauce is really delicious! Paired with the fried tempura set, the fried mushrooms are delicious, and I also ordered a pork hot soup noodle, which is another taste, and it is also delicious. Overall, it’s not bad! Worth going! But if you have to queue for an hour, I don’t think it’s necessary.
