Travel to Peneda Island in Bali, ride a motorcycle to explore the Broken Beach and Elf Beach

This is my fifth trip to Penida Island. Here are some practical suggestions for you. First, if you want to check in and take photos, you can charter a car. If you have time to play and experience it slowly, you can ride a motorcycle. The road conditions on most sections are OK, and it is best to have an experienced driver. To check in and take photos in Penida, you can go to the two classic beaches and then Broken Beach. These three points take a whole day and are also the three most classic points.

For those who rent motorcycles, go to one point in the morning and one point in the afternoon, and experience it slowly. At noon, lie down in the hotel or take a rest in the restaurant. The dry season has arrived recently, and people will be sunburned under the sun. I have been to Penida for five times, and I can still find some classic viewing angles. For example, you don’t have to go down to the Elf Beach. You can also go to the opposite side, or pay two dollars to have a viewing platform, and the view is also superb.

There are many niche attractions in Penida, such as waterfalls, swings, and sunset points. You will find that except for popular attractions, there are almost no people going to other points, and the scenery is also very beautiful. You can slowly discover it yourself. The beach in Penida is mostly composed of cliffs, and you need to take a very dangerous road to get down to the beach. At the highest point of Elf Beach, the vertical altitude is 200 meters and the slope is close to 90 degrees. You must pay attention to safety, especially if you are afraid of heights, as it is very likely that you will get dizzy if you stand on the edge.
