Sawasdee Village, a Thai-style hotel with pool villas in Phuket, where you can experience Thailand’s Songkran Festival

A completely surprising hotel, Sawasdee Village, from the hotel to the room, every corner along the way is full of Thai style, the public areas and rooms are beautiful and clean! The front desk can speak Chinese and English, and the attitude is very good. When checking in, they will send beautiful and delicious welcome juice, and you can store your luggage for free. If you come early, there is a special lounge! The breakfast is also very delicious, opening hours 7am-10:30am, curry potatoes are delicious! Check-in is 2pm, check-out is 12pm. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from Kata Beach every day!

There are 4 room types in total, ordinary garden view/oasis garden view/direct access to the pool/Bari Villa. The latter two room types are recommended. You can walk down from the balcony to swim at any time. You have to play in the water anytime and anywhere when you soak in the hotel! BTW, the swimming pool is public, and you can also go to the swimming pool in the garden view room. There is also a beautiful water bar in the middle of the swimming pool, you can order cocktails and coconuts! The off-season is very cheap, the villa room is 800-900, and there is a big private swimming pool when you open the door. The room area is 106 square meters, which is large and comfortable. But I went there in mid-April, and it was the Thai Songkran Festival when I booked it. The premium of each room type was about 400, the villa room was 1400, and the room with direct access to the swimming pool was 920, which was the same price as the villa room in the off-season. When booking, you can check the price two months later to see the premium. If the premium is too high, consider it carefully.

Sawasdee Village is also in a good location. It is about 1 kilometer near Kata Beach and can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. If you don’t want to walk, you can also take the hotel’s free shuttle bus. The hotel is located on an old street with convenience stores/massage shops/several car rental shops. There is also a very delicious fruit juice diagonally opposite. A full cup of passion fruit and watermelon juice is only 80 baht. Think about the fruit juice in Singapore, how dare you. I want to stay in sawasdee village next time because I can drink fruit juice as soon as I go out.
