Boracay is indeed the most beautiful beach. Experience banana boat and paragliding
Although the weather has been changing between cloudy and overcast, the white sand beach of Boracay is still the No.1 beach in my heart, and the sunset can be called one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Arrived at Caticlan Airport in Manila. The hotel pick-up was smooth. Caticlan Airport is really close to Boracay. It takes ten minutes to drive from the airport to the pier and then transfer to a speedboat for more than ten minutes to get to the island. However, the transportation on the island is a bit poor. If you live in S1 and happen to catch a traffic jam, it will take a long time.🏖️White Beach
The white beach is divided into three areas, S1/S2/S3. It is a public beach, so the hotels in the white beach do not have private beaches. S1 is the farthest from the pier and the beach is the thinnest, and the hotels in this area are also the most expensive. S2 is close to the commercial center Dmall, so it is more convenient to eat, drink and have fun, but at the same time, there are many vendors soliciting business. S3 is closest to the pier, the sand is coarser, but there are no commercial activities, so there are the least people. S1/2/3 are not particularly far away from each other. It takes half an hour to 40 minutes to walk from S1 to S3. There is no big difference where to stay.
🏨Hotels Pictures 1-5
The overall cost-effectiveness of hotels in Boracay is not high. Except for the Shangri-La, which is located in a remote area, there are no particularly good hotels. All five-star hotels are local hotels. After comparison, I chose to stay at the Linde Hotel. When I checked in, the room with pool view was about 1,700 yuan per night. Overall, it was ok. The advantage is that the hotel's swimming pool is quite good for taking pictures and is also suitable for watching the sunset. The S1 beach outside is really super delicate. The room facilities are average, and the restaurant is also so-so. Don't expect high prices.
🚣 Water activities
Water activities such as banana boats and paragliding are mainly concentrated in S3, but paddle boards and canoes are available in S1/S2. Remember to bargain. There is nothing fun to do when going out to sea in Boracay, and it is mainly for leisure at the beach.
🍽️Restaurants
Eating and drinking are all in S2. There are many Koreans, so Korean food is everywhere. If the taste is Western, I recommend four restaurants.
Picture 14➡️Muchos is a small restaurant with Latin American and Asian fusion, delicious.
Picture 15➡️Aplaya is an Italian restaurant with good pasta.
Picture 16➡️Dos Mestizos is a Spanish restaurant with a bit of fine dining. It is on the main road and suitable for night time. It is delicious and less than 200 per person, which is very cost-effective for me living in Hong Kong.
Picture 17➡️Sunny Side Cafe, a coffee shop with good reviews on Google Map. I wanted to have brunch but it was closed on the first day, so I didn’t go there.
💆Massage
I only went to a place called KABAYAN SPA MASSAGE, which is on Dmall. The environment is clean and the techniques are good.
🌄Sunset
The sunset in Boracay is really amazing. Stepping on the still warm sea water and fine sand, watching the sunset sailboats shuttle back and forth in the skyline dyed red by the sunset.
