Phumontra Spa Review in Phuket. Body scrub, essential oil massage, herbal hot compress
It is indeed the best experience of Phuket spa massage, which makes this trip to Thailand a perfect memory. I didn't do any strategy before, but when I checked in in Phuket, I found that this massage shop actually needs to be booked 3-7 days in advance. I thought it was impossible, but the hotel front desk helped us book it at 6:45 pm the next day. Maybe it's not too peak season recently. I feel that if it is peak season, it must be several days in advance.Let me talk about the feeling of entering the door first. Our car drove up the mountain, which felt like a secret garden. There was a green jungle at the entrance. We were given a welcome drink first, and then asked for our reservation name and phone number. The waiter basically speaks a little English or Chinese. It would be more convenient if we could communicate in simple English! The next moment was full of experience.
Step 1: Fill out a simple questionnaire
Step 2: Choose your favorite essential oil
Step 3: Choose your favorite scrub
Then I waited for a while and was taken in! Later I checked Xiaohongshu and found out that this place seems to have only 7 rooms. After entering, there is a stream and a path. It took less than 2 minutes to walk to our room. The masseuse was very enthusiastic and praised me for my beauty in Chinese. The next step is to go into the bathroom to take off your clothes. They will provide two disposable underwear, which feels good quality. After giving a tip, I asked for an extra one.
Then there will be a footbath covered with flowers for you to wash your feet, and you can go to bed after washing. According to the package I chose, it is body scrub-essential oil massage-herbal hot compress. In fact, after the whole process, I felt it was magical at the beginning. The atmosphere of the whole room plus light music, including the feeling of rubbing the scrub on the body, was so comfortable.
But I feel that the essential oil and hot compress are just so-so. A little fuzzy. Maybe it’s because I chose a light intensity. Because later we went to the roadside to check in for two street massages. Generally, Thai massages are very light, and it feels more comfortable to use essential oils. In fact, the technique is just like that. It feels more suitable for girls. Will boys feel as if they didn’t get a massage? Or boys will be more stressed. As for the price, Phumontra is 1200 baht for 2 hours, which is not expensive. We gave each person a 100 tip, it depends on whether you want to give it, but it feels okay if you don't. Roadside massage is 250 per hour, which is cheap and comfortable, very suitable for killing time and enjoying the trip.
