Located in the Malaty District, the Manila Zoological and Botanical Gardens covers an area of 5.5 hectares. It is the first zoo in the Philippines. The zoo has a restaurant, picnic area and souvenir shop. Visitors can take a boat to enjoy the wild ducks and mandarin ducks swimming in the lake.The zoo is not big, and it took 30 minutes to walk around. The overall number of animals is not bad. There is a good coffee shop inside, where you can order a cup of coffee and take a break in the afternoon. Overall, it is not recommended to come here specifically, but if you visit other nearby attractions, it can still be one of the points.
