The Wuhou Temple in Chengdu is a memorial hall for Zhuge Liang of the Three Kingdoms period, filled with the atmosphere of Sichuan culture!

Founded in the first year of the Zhangwu reign of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period, it was rebuilt in the 24th year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty and in the 10th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty. Located at 231 Wuhouci Street, Wuhou District, Chengdu, covering an area of 150000 square meters, it consists of four parts: Han Zhaolie Temple, Wuhou Temple, Huiling Temple, and Sanyi Temple. The gate of the Han Dynasty Lie Temple is a hardtop, with main halls and cultural buildings on both sides inside. The General's Hall is a complete courtyard style building. The main hall is a single eaved building on the mountaintop, with a width of seven rooms and a depth of four rooms. There is a 3-meter-high statue of Liu Bei sitting inside.

The Wuhou Temple consists of a main hall, east wing, west wing, bell tower, six sets of drum towers, and Kongming Hall, surrounded by buildings. The hall is a roof on the mountaintop. It has 5 rooms wide and 2 rooms deep. Zhuge Liang Huiling is located on the east side of Wuhou Temple and was first built in the eleventh year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty. It consists of screen walls, mountain gates, Shintoism and incense halls, a tomb body, a height of 1.2 meters, and a circumference of 180 meters. The tomb is surrounded by gray brick walls. This is the joint tomb of Liu Bei, Lady Gan, and Lady Wu. San Yi Temple was built by Zheng Jiaolin, the governor of Sichuan in the early years of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 569 square meters.

Wuhou Temple was originally a temple dedicated to Zhuge Liang, also known as Kongming Temple, Prime Minister Temple, etc. Later, it was merged into a temple dedicated to the monarch and ministers. It is a carrier of people's respect for Shu Han culture and a source of cultural relics from the Three Kingdoms period in Sichuan. 29 years after Zhuge Liang's death, a temple was built in Mianyang, and the current Wuhou Temple was relocated from the Southern and Northern Dynasties. In the fourth year of the Yuanhe reign of the Tang Dynasty, the "Monument to the Temple of Marquis Wu" was erected. The envoy Wu Yuanheng led his subordinates to pay tribute to the Wuhou Temple and ordered Pei Du to write an article and erect a monument to express his respect and admiration for Zhuge Liang. Du Fu's poem "The Prime Minister of Shu" says: "Where can I find the Prime Minister's ancestral hall? There are so many trees outside the city of Jinguan." This is exactly what he said.
