A relaxing trip to Boracay, facing the jelly-like sea, back to the gentle early summer
Boracay in the Philippines is not suitable for special forces to check in, but more suitable for a relaxing vacation. Facing the jelly-like blue sea, you can escape here for a short time, lie down in the gentle land of coconut trees and beaches, and immerse yourself in the relaxation of the Pacific island. I have to say that the transportation in Boracay is really complicated.① Airplane
The closest airport to Boracay is Caticlan Airport (MPH), but there is no direct flight, and you must transfer in the Philippines (Manila, Cebu, Clark). Manila is the mainstream, but the airport facilities are dilapidated and the city security is poor. I transferred at Clark Airport (CRK) this time. The terminal is newly built and the facilities are modern. However, there is only a direct flight from Hong Kong in China. Friends in the Greater Bay Area can consider this line.
② Airport to Pier
The arrival and departure buildings of Caticlan Airport are not in the same place. Walk 30 meters from the building to the minibus station, buy a ticket and take an electric tricycle to the pier (PHP 75), which takes 10 minutes. If you have luggage, you need to buy an extra ticket.
③ Ferry
The ship departs 24 hours a day and the journey takes 10 minutes. Enter the terminal building and buy tickets at the window. The outbound trip costs PHP 500 (terminal fee 150 + environmental fee 300 + boat ticket 50), and the return trip costs PHP 200 (terminal fee 150 + boat ticket 50).
④ Transportation on the island
A classic electric tricycle in Southeast Asia, fare is calculated by mileage. Starting from Station 2 Beach, it costs PHP 30 to the terminal and PHP 35 to Puka Beach. If you want to take an empty car, you must tell the driver "Share", otherwise it will be a chartered car by default, and the price will be several times higher. Electric tricycles cannot be picked up anywhere, and passengers must be picked up and dropped off at the concave bay parking spots on the roadside.
⑤ From the terminal to the airport
The terminal is very close to the departure building of Caticlan Airport, and it takes only 10 minutes to walk there. You can also take an electric tricycle (PHP 50).
🏝 Attractions:
1⃣ White Beach Station 1/2/3 (Pictures 1, 3-8)
Amazing treasure of the island. The white beach stretches 4 kilometers from north to south, with coconut trees scattered along the coast. The sand is as white and fine as flour. The beach is flat and wide, and the sea water is as clear as jelly glass. There are even a lot of small fish in the waves when the tide is low in the morning. Personally, I think the beach near the Willy's Rock at Station 1 is of the highest quality.
2⃣ Willy's Rock (Picture 9)
On the Station 1 beach.
3⃣ Lambros Point (Pictures 10-11)
At the end of the Station 1 beach, there is a hidden tide cave, which is very photogenic under clear skies.
4⃣ Bulabog Beach (Pictures 12-13)
The beach on the east side of the island has poor sand quality and strong winds that hurt your face, but it is suitable for sailing and gliding. Here you can check in a fallen coconut tree, Google navigation Leaning Coconut Tree.
5⃣ Puka Shell Beach (Picture 14)
The beach on the north side of the island, the location of Liang Jingru's wedding, but the sand quality is not good either.
🌅 Sunset sailing (pictures 15-18):
Swaying up and down with the waves on the sailboat, sailing on the orange sea dotted by the sunset is the most gentle moment of the day.
💳 Find Xiaohei by the Station 2 beach pontoon to sign up (PHP 700 no bargaining). Sunset tests your luck. You can sign up in the afternoon depending on the weather during the off-peak season.
📝 Tips:
❗️ Be careful when sitting under a fruiting coconut tree! I saw a small coconut fall from the tree with my own eyes, and it’s no joke if you get hit.
