Just returned from a trip to Ho Chi Minh City, some super practical guides and tips
✔️You don't have to do the body massage, but you must try the Vietnamese-style shampoo, which usually takes 45-60 minutes. The whole service includes head massage, facial massage, shoulder and neck massage, and shampooing. It's really super comfortable and relaxing.✔️The pink church is very photogenic both during the day and at night. You can go to the cong cafe opposite to check in and take pictures. Its coconut coffee smoothie is super delicious, and it's only about 18rmb a cup.
✔️Most of the attractions in Ho Chi Minh are concentrated in District 1. You need to buy tickets to enter the Independence Palace and the War Memorial. You can only buy tickets on site in cash.
✔️About five minutes' walk from the Independence Palace, there is a food market called "Street Food", which brings together various local specialties.
✔️You can go to "Ho Thi Ky Food Street" in the evening. This is the only night market in Ho Chi Minh. There are many food stalls, all kinds of authentic snacks, seafood barbecue, coffee juice, and the price is super cheap!
✔️In addition to eating at the night market at night, you can also take a double-decker bus to see the night view of downtown Ho Chi Minh. You can buy tickets at the entrance of the Grand Theater, 15w VND/person
✔️Half of the Ben Thanh Market sells local specialties. You can just look at it and it is not recommended to buy it. The other half is a food court with many snack shops. The price is still quite cheap
✔️To buy specialty snacks, it is recommended to go to the local supermarket "Go! Suprrmarket". The price is affordable. Its own dried mango and jackfruit are cheap and delicious! However, it is far from the city. If you want to be close, you can go to Coopmart
✔️The coffee here is really delicious. The egg coffee is more special. If you don’t like sweet, don’t order the local Vietnamese coffee, because it will be very sweet with condensed milk
✔️If you have enough time, you can report a half-day tour or a one-day tour group on klook. The Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong River are both good. If you choose one of the two, the Mekong River is more recommended, and the activity experience is richer
🏨Hotel recommendation
✔️The first choice is to stay in District 1. It is more convenient near Pham Ngu Lao Street, Ben Thanh Market or the Grand Theater.
1️⃣ Park Hyatt Saigon
Known as the best hotel in Ho Chi Minh, it really feels good after checking in! Mainly featuring Nanyang style, the hotel lobby is very gorgeous, and the service is impeccable
2️⃣ Hilton Hotel
A new hotel opened in 2023, the room facilities are very new, the space is large, the high-rise river view room has a great view, the food in the executive lounge is very exquisite, and the cost performance is very high
3️⃣ New World Hotel
One of the old hotels in Ho Chi Minh, it is very close to Ben Thanh Market, Pham Ngu Lao Street and Ladies Street, and the price is relatively affordable. The disadvantage is that the hotel is relatively old, and the shower is a relatively old-fashioned curtain bath
