A Cantonese twist on Peruvian cuisine in Singapore, Peru’s national dish invented by Cantonese immigrants

I took my Cantonese friend to visit Dempsey's treasured Peruvian dish Canchita for the second time. We finally ordered Lomo Saltado, the national dish of Peru invented by Cantonese immigrants. However, the dish here is made with thick wagyu meat. Cantonese people said that the meat was good but not tasty, wasting the juice outside. The green version of cerviche was just average. The limited-time taco in collaboration with the famous Japanese chef was not special, but the grilled beef heart was quite amazing. Desserts are still their weak point. Among the three sorbets, only the soursop is special. Canchita
