Shopping guide for Cho Ben Thanh Market and Big C Supermarket in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
【Vietnam // Ho Chi Minh City】 The highlight of the second day was shopping! We started our shopping spree again (Picture 7)! Friends who have been to Bangkok, Thailand know that Big C is super fun to visit! So when we knew there was a Big C nearby, we went there.First, let me introduce what is good to buy in Big C! First is the mung bean cake (Picture 14)! Our MD said that it is a must-buy in Vietnam because mung bean cake is their specialty. Mung bean cake is really soft, soft and delicious! It was gone after eating. Next is cashew nuts (Pictures 10 and 11)! It is also their specialty! The key is to buy the kind with the skin!
Finally, of course, their coffee! Their coffee is really famous, it would be a pity if you don’t buy it back! I bought their Trung Nguyen Legend Classic, which is also their famous brand (Picture 9)! I can only say that it is really delicious! It tastes better than our regular 3 in 1, more fragrant and not too sweet. It's really good. The other Cappuccino Hazelnut and Cappuccino Mocha (12th picture) are a little sweeter.
Cho Ben Thanh market has a lot of handicrafts and dry food. I bought some coasters (13th picture) because they are really beautiful and the price is quite cheap. The top of the coaster is made of shells and the seller is also very nice! He didn't force me to buy the things but gave me time to look at them slowly and buy them if I like them. I accidentally spilled my coffee in front of someone's store. He also helped me clean it up. He kept saying it's okay and he would clean it up. He was so nice that I didn't dare to bargain with him. I also bought this mango candy (8th picture)! It's really delicious! The QQ mango flavor is also very fragrant and I love it! I recommend everyone to go and buy some!
