Pattaya Sanctuary of Truth - A temple that will never be completed

Located on the beautiful coast of Pattaya, the Sanctuary of Truth is a temple that started construction in 1981 but has not yet been completed. It is a pure wooden structure without any concrete or metal intervention. It is famous for its exquisite wood carving structure. This castle-like tetrahedron building combines cultural themes such as the Ayutthaya Kingdom, Hinduism and Buddhism. The interior decoration is all completed with artificial wood carvings. The patterns and sculptures vividly tell the story of evolution from ancient times to the present, the birth of the world, the birth of mankind, and the birth of religion. For safety reasons, tourists are still under construction. Wear engineering hats when visiting here. In addition to visiting wood carvings, you can also see craftsmen carving on site.

The Sanctuary of Truth is said to be the largest wood carving art gallery in Thailand. It is very famous in Pattaya and is a must-see attraction. The wood carvings of the Sanctuary of Truth use artistic shapes from different cultures of the East and the West, including Chinese characters, all concentrated in one building, which is really a bit dazzling and overwhelming.
