Taiwanese food recommended by Google China CEO Kai-Fu Lee

When my friends travel to Taiwan, they often ask me what food in Taiwan is not to be missed. I can usually recommend a lot of food, including must-try flavors and must-buy souvenirs to bring back home for my family. As a professional foodie, I am afraid of missing out on some food and leaving my friends with regrets. So I simply compiled my Taiwan food map and shared it with more friends who travel to Taiwan. If you have discovered other food, you are welcome to recommend it to me.

1. First stop: Master Wang
Recommended food: mung bean dumplings, egg yolk astry (they won’t taste so good after a day or two.)

2. Second stop: Yizhixuan
Recommended food: Mochi (freshly made, 7 pieces per box.)

3. Third stop: Laoye Restaurant
Recommended food: Macadamia nut nougat (Japanese salt, French cream, plus macadamia nuts, much tastier than ordinary nougat.)

4. Fourth stop: Chia Te
Recommended food: pineapple cake (Although Hot Hills may be the most famous recently, I personally think that Hot Hills is a little too sour, while Chia Te is sweeter and has a more creamy aroma.)

5. Fifth stop: Xinyuanzhai
Recommended food: roast chicken, pork elbow (takeaway only: very delicious)
Tel: 23910020

6. Stop 6: Ice monster
Recommended food: Shaved ice (the two flavors of perverted coffee and bubble tea are much tastier than the others, but they also have the highest calories.)

7. The seventh stop: 89 Live Seafood Restaurant
