At night in Asahikawa, Tokyo, Japan, I found an old yakitori restaurant with a full atmosphere of a late-night canteen. The charcoal fire is very fragrant! Very fragrant and tender, the chicken tail is crispy on the outside and crispy on the inside, fat but not greasy. The must-orders include chicken skin, chicken neck meat, chicken sticks (the small crispy bones inside are fun to chew), golden salt grilled mustard chicken skewers (the pungent mustard flavor and the tender chicken thighs blend well, and a glass of draft beer is perfect for a late night. We ordered more dishes later.
