Enjoy the food at Restaurant Allen on Christmas Day, its two Michelin stars are well deserved
I came to Seoul for my birthday and checked in at Restaurant Allen. It was around Christmas time, so many restaurants were difficult to book. I happened to be staying at Josun Palace, so I asked someone to book Allen. It was conveniently located in the business district next to the hotel.The caviar was from their own store, and it tasted good and delicious. The abalone Wellington was also the first time I had abalone, and it was good, but the skin of the Wellington was too hard. The fatness of the duck breast was just right, and we also added a la carte items to the menu. The beef and truffle pasta were amazing. It was my birthday that night, and the restaurant also prepared a special cake. The chef finally took us to visit the kitchen, and there was a sentence written on the wall: "If there is no struggle, there is no progress."
