The only Marriott hotel in Cebu, with online quality, worthy of a holiday stay

The day before leaving Cebu, I chose to stay at the Sheraton Cebu Resort, the only Marriott hotel on Cebu Island.

Location: The hotel is located on the Airport Island in Cebu, about 10 kilometers away from the airport. There are many high-end hotels here. It should be regarded as a relatively high-end area in Cebu. It is recommended as a transition hotel for friends who want to catch a flight at the airport.

Facilities: The hotel's facilities are very new. It is recommended to choose a sea view room, because the scenery on the non-sea view side is really inferior. The facilities in the room are also well maintained, and the bed is very comfortable, standard for a 5-star hotel. The gym not only provides cucumber lemonade and fruits, but also provides free energy drinks, which increases your favorability by 1.

Environment: The hotel environment is very good, just like a standard tropical resort hotel, with swimming pools, beaches, sea breeze, and coconut trees. But generally speaking, the overall area of the hotel is small and cannot be compared with resort hotels in Sanya. There is a small beach below the three swimming pools. It is actually polite to say it is a beach. It is more of a stone beach. Other than that, the rest is just No, the outside of the hotel also feels messy, so it might be a bit boring if you stay there for a long time.

Service: The hotel's service is really good. Every staff member is very enthusiastic and polite. They say hello politely when meeting, but they don't feel overly enthusiastic and the service is very moderate. Platinum card check-in also comes with a shell necklace as a gift. The most important thing is that I successfully upgraded to an invincible sea view suite. Foreign hotels are still very generous.

Catering: The buffet breakfast is really one of the biggest highlights. There are many kinds of food and the quality is also very high. Because there are many Koreans, there is also a special Korean breakfast section, and there are people who carry burdens to deliver sweet tofu pudding. I was shocked

High-card guests can have snacks at 5 Cien Restaurant and Cocktail from 5 to 7 pm in the evening. The quality of the food is okay, but it is not a full meal like domestic lounges. Moreover, it is said that food is collected at 7 o'clock, but the staff is busy at 6:30 It's time to close the table. For dinner, the hotel has three restaurants. 5 Cien is a buffet for 2,700 pesos per person, so just pass! Another Buhi Cave Bar had music playing all the time, but it was a bit too noisy, so I gave it a pass. Finally, I ordered a burger at DIP. I have to say that the ingredients used in the Surf and Turf burger are genuine. The taste was a little off-putting. I don’t know what kind of sauce it is. It felt salty or sour, which I didn't like. The dessert was pretty good, chocolate banana and passion fruit mousse. Overall, it is a resort hotel worth staying in, but one night is enough. The essence of Cebu is to go diving in various places.
