Changsha Lushan is one of the four major maple tree viewing spots in China. The best maple tree viewing points are the following four.
1. Aiwan Pavilion (Figure 1.2): Aiwan Pavilion is a famous red leaf viewing destination both domestically and internationally. There are continuous maple trees, red like flames. The maple leaves here are the earliest and largest.
2. Chuanshipo Lake (Figure 3.4): In Chuanshipo Lake, red maple trees and pavilions complement each other, embedded in the clear lake water, creating a picturesque scenery.
3. Yunlu Palace (Figure 5.6): The sunlight penetrates through the gaps between the trees, piercing through the ginkgo and red leaves, allowing you to deeply appreciate the poetic realm of "the forest being dyed".
4. Sightseeing Corridor or Yuwang Memorial Observation Deck (Figure 7.8): Looking towards the TV tower, the mountains are covered in red maple, and you can feel the world described in "Thousand Mountains and Ten Thousand Waters". It is estimated that the best time to admire maple leaves this year will be from December 5th to 15th. Please be patient and wait! However, the ginkgo trees on the mountain are all yellow, so you can still go and take a look!
