Nanjing Map
Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River Scenic Area in Qinhuai District
I arrived at the Confucius Temple in Qinhuai District on the afternoon of the first day. The Confucius Temple is a large-scale ancient building complex, mainly composed of the Confucius Temple It consists of three major building complexes: , Xuegong and Gongyuan.
I first visited the China Imperial Examination Museum. The China Imperial Examination Museum was renovated and expanded from Jiangnan Gongyuan. Jiangnan Gongyuan was the largest imperial examination examination room in ancient China. In its peak period, it could accommodate more than 20,000 candidates taking exams at the same time. It is also the only imperial examination museum in China. An underground museum.
When I walked in from the underground, I thought the wall was very interesting, but now I discovered that it was the answer sheets of the candidates.
The Imperial Examination Museum clearly explains the history of the development of the imperial examination according to the development of the past dynasties. What you see at the end of the imperial examination journey is——
It’s quite interesting. The Imperial Examination Museum is worth a visit and can increase a lot of knowledge.
Then we went to eat. There is a Huaiyang cuisine restaurant called Red Mansion of the Republic of China·Qinhuai Bayan near the museum. It was on the must-eat list in Nanjing when I went there. , now it seems that Black Pearl has been listed, but I still want to clear the mines.
It tastes terrible. Not only is it unpalatable, but the service is also perfunctory because of the large number of tourists coming in to dine. Although the decoration is in the style of the Republic of China, I can take a photo or two, but that's it...it's not worth it at all.
The main recommendation of this restaurant is Qinhuai's eight delicious snacks. I think they are all very unpalatable...
It is better to visit Qinhuai at night after dark. The Qinhuai River is of great significance to Nanjing. Literally Metaphor, "As an important water system in Nanjing, the Qinhuai River has witnessed the development of Nanjing city. History has left many ancient relics in this river"...
On the Qinhuai River, thousands of night lights are reflected, and people sing after getting drunk.
The sparkling Qinhuai River, the mother river of Nanjing that has passed through for thousands of years, is "China's most famous historical and cultural river". Liu Yuxi lamented here that "weeds and flowers beside the Zhuque Bridge, the setting sun at the entrance of Wuyi Alley, and the swallows in front of Wang Xietang in the old days flew into the homes of ordinary people." Dong Xiaowan leaned on the railing here and looked into the distance, waiting for the advent of the border. Zhu Ziqing and Yu Pingbo were here We swam together and then wrote the love letter "Qinhuai River in the Sound of Oars and Shadows of Lights".
You will also encounter some NPCs during the river cruise.
Beside the Qinhuai River, there is also a building that imitates the "classroom" used for examinations at that time.
There is another scenic spot near the Qinhuai River which is the ruins of the Dabaoen Temple. I only picked this scenic spot and went there on the morning of the third day. If you go, you can combine the Dabaoen Temple and the Qinhuai River. Together, because they are very close.
The Dabaoen Temple ruins are the highest-standard, largest-scale and best-preserved temple ruins in China. They were built in full accordance with the standards of the imperial palace. They are magnificent and bright day and night.
But that's not the reason why I chose it. The predecessor of Dabaoen Temple is Changgan Temple. This name reminds me of a poem I like very much, "Living together in Changgan, two little kids guessing." I After checking, the "Changganli" in the poem is exactly the "Changgan" of Changgan Temple.
Changganli in the Six Dynasties is a relatively independent geographical unit and one of the important residential areas in the south of Jiankang City. After the Sui Dynasty destroyed the Chen Dynasty, Jiankang City, the old capital of the Chen Dynasty, was razed to the ground by the Sui army. The status of Changqianli must have been worse than before, but the people living in Changqianli did not seem to be scattered and extinct. The elements of the Six Dynasties carried by Changqianli are preserved in Tang poetry in the form of literary imagery and are known to more people. "When my hair first covered my forehead, I played in front of the door with flowers. The man came riding a bamboo horse and went around the bed to make green plums. We lived together in Changqian, and the two young children guessed..." In addition to Li Bai's "Changgan Xing" mentioned in the opening chapter, Cui Hao's "Changgan Song" "Where does the king's family live, my concubine lives in Hengtang", "We are both from Changgan, but we have not known each other since childhood", which is equally popular. Exaggerated by the poetry of the Tang Dynasty and the old custom of "breaking willows at Changgan" in farewell in the Six Dynasties, "Changgan" and "Changganli" have become the images of Jiangnan written by the Tang people and are widely praised. To this day, if you climb the Zhonghua Gate city wall of Nanjing during the Ming Dynasty, you will see the splendid ruins of Dabaoen Temple (Changqian Temple of the Six Dynasties) outside and the meandering Qinhuai River inside. In the middle are neatly planned historical districts and scattered traditional houses. I wonder if this scene can still remind people of the style of Changganli during the Six Dynasties. The appearance of Dabaoen Temple is——
There are not only solemn treasures inside——
There is also a scenery that changes colors, which reminds people that the bodhi tree is not a tree, and the mirror is not a stand. There is nothing in the first place, so how can it cause dust.
There are also 480 temples in the Southern Dynasties, and how many towers are only in the model .
There is also a glazed pagoda in Dabaoen Temple, which is made entirely of glazed pagodas.
Whenever dusk approaches, 144 oil lamps as bright as torches will be lit on the Glazed Pagoda and will remain on all night long. Whether it is a moonlit evening with few stars, or a stormy night, whether in the jungle at the foot of Zhongshan Mountain, or in a fishing boat on the river, people can see the never-extinguished lights on this tall tower. The long night is deep, and the Buddha's lamp is always bright. The Glazed Pagoda has been the tallest building in China from its construction to its destruction. It is also a miracle in the history of world architecture. It ranks among the seven wonders of the medieval world. It is known as "China's great antique and Yongle's great kiln". It is called the "No. 1 Tower in the World".
It’s a pity that it was not rebuilt after it was destroyed. Maybe imperfection is also a kind of perfection. After all, the rebuilt Glazed Pagoda will no longer have the brilliance and beauty of the past. It is better to walk into the current Glazed Pagoda, think about its brilliance hundreds of years ago, and reflect on the past and the present.
Da Baoen Temple is a scenic spot that I feel is very worthwhile. Tourists can go there whether they are interested in Buddhist temple culture or want to take some beautiful photos. .
Confucius Temple Qinhuai River Scenic Area also has Laomendong, which is named because it is located east of Zhonghua Gate in Qinhuai District, Nanjing City. I think the scenery there is very...scenic, and the food sold is also very scenic. There is not much to see. of.
Because I was heartbroken by the dinner at the Red Mansion on the first day, I specifically asked my friend in Nanjing what kind of food there was. My friend recommended Huang Qinji jelly in Laomendong to me. I went to eat it, but I didn’t think it was good. Well, the environment is even worse, but the process of making jelly is quite interesting, as it uses "planing".
Xuanwu District
Xuanwu Lake Park
Xuanwu Lake Park is the park my mother wants to visit. It is very big and you need to take a sightseeing bus. It is indeed beautiful. It is said that there are "Ten Scenic Spots of Xuanwu", but I did not identify them one by one. There is a beautiful lake on which you can drive your own boat.
I feel it is very suitable for a family trip to accompany grandparents to Xuanwu Lake Park for a walk and enjoy the scenery.
What I like most is the Ming Dynasty City Wall ruins outside Xuanwu Lake Park. Climb up and look into the distance. The river is raining and the grass is flowing, and the Six Dynasties are like birds singing in the sky. The most ruthless willow is Taicheng Liu, still smoked ten miles away from the embankment.
(No pictures were taken.)
Jiming Temple
My mother also asked me to come to Jiming Temple. My mother said that seeking marriage here is very effective, but I later found out that Jiming Temple used to be a nunnery, and seeking marriage should be the most effective place. It's not working, ahhhh, it disappoints my mother. I can ask for health and career here.
I wonder if my mother thought of "the wind and rain are as dark as the rooster crows. Now that I see a gentleman, Yunhu will not be happy?", so she thinks that seeking marriage is very effective.
Jiming Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples and royal temples in Nanjing. Its incense has always been strong. Since ancient times, it has been known as "the first temple in the Southern Dynasties" and the first among the "480 temples in the Southern Dynasties".
The reason why I am interested in Jiming Temple is that there is a couplet in "A Dream of Red Mansions". The couplet written by the nun Miaoyu is "The bells ring in the Cuicui Temple, and the chickens sing in the Daoxiang Village." When I heard the name Jiming Temple, I suddenly thought Zi then thought of this continuation of the poem. Later, I checked on the Internet and found out that there is a theory that the prototype of the Cuicui Temple where Miaoyu lived in the Grand View Garden was the Jiming Temple on Jilong Mountain in Nanjing.
It is not impossible to think of the relationship between "A Dream of Red Mansions" and Nanjing (Jinling).
Jiangning Weaving Museum
My trip to Nanjing was very temporary. The biggest regret was that I couldn’t make appointments with many museums. I have also been to several famous museums in Shanghai. It felt like It is incomparable to the museums in Nanjing. Nanjing is really a city with a very rich cultural heritage. Next time you go to Nanjing, you must visit the museum. If you want to take a trip to Nanjing Museum, you must also make an appointment in advance.
Fortunately, as a fan of Dream of Red Mansions, there is also the less popular Jiangning Weaving Museum waiting for me. The Jiangning Weaving Museum is a modern museum built on the Jiangning weaving site in the Qing Dynasty.
Although Jiangning Zhizao Mansion has a longer history than "A Dream of Red Mansions", it was the birth of the literary giant Cao Xueqin that really made it famous. The fate of the Cao family is inseparable from Jiangning Zhizao Mansion. In the second year of Kangxi's reign (1663), Cao Xueqin's great-grandfather Cao Xi was sent to Nanjing to work as a weaver in Jiangning. Cao Xueqin's grandfather served as officials here for three generations. Cao Xueqin himself was born in Nanjing in the 50th year of Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1711). Inside the Jiangning Weaving Mansion. The Grand View Garden in "A Dream of Red Mansions" is based on this.
Jiangning Weaving Museum was designed by Mr. Wu Liangyong, a famous architect and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is his "meet Jiangnan".
Jiangning Weaving Museum can be roughly divided into two parts, one part belongs to the ruins of Jiangning Zhizao Mansion.
For example, the picture below is a model of the emperor's palace when he went to Jiangnan.
The other part belongs to "A Dream of Red Mansions".
In addition, there are some exhibitions that are also very interesting. "Slow in the past", these three words have the charm of Nanjing. Nanjing really has too many stories from the past to tell. Wei Xu is here.
The exhibitions I usually see are all about popularizing science and knowledge, but I rarely see such emotional words.
Once upon a time can be not only a grand narrative, but also composed of tiny, female narratives.
The Jiangning Weaving Museum is indeed not as interesting as many popular museums, but it is of extraordinary significance to a fan of Dream of Red Mansions. What a great thing was born from this land. Daughter's world.
I also think that hundreds of years ago, this was the palace where the emperor went to the south of the Yangtze River. The royal garden was boiled with fire and decorated with flowers. Now it has been buried in the torrent of history, leaving only the "Dream of Red Mansions", which has been famous for generations.
Meiling Palace
Meiling Palace is very close to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, but because I visited Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum once in Nanjing when I was a child, I have not gone there again, but now my only impression of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is that I bought a lot of Yuhua Stones Souvenirs that you can never put down.
I want to go to Meiling Palace because I have been interested in this period of history since I was a child, so I took a taxi alone (you have to be careful about being scammed when taking a taxi near a scenic spot like Meiling Palace. I was scammed. It is best to take the subway or the subway). Didi Taxi (with clearly marked prices) is also coming.
If you are also interested in this period of history, after visiting Meiling Palace in Nanjing, you can also visit Soong Ching Ling’s former residence in Shanghai. Although the two sisters lived in the house for different times, compared with each other, they are still I find it very interesting and emotional.
Meiling Palace let me know more details about her life at that time, such as what the most advanced bathtub was like at that time, and how the couple originally slept in separate rooms.
Xinjiekou
Next we go to Nanjing’s CBD. Xinjiekou, the busiest city center, is still in Xuanwu District. When we went to Nanjing, the first place we visited was Xinjiekou, because we stayed at the Jinling Hotel in Xinjiekou on the first night.
Jinling Hotel was once the tallest building in China. It has a long history and a very good address. It is just at Xinjiekou, a few steps away from the famous Deji Square, and it is very convenient for shopping. Jinling Hotel was built in 1983. Many reviews said it was old, but it may have been renovated before I went there. I think the facilities are quite good.
The Deji Plaza next to it is also very easy to visit! !
There is also a famous Fangpo pastry shop near Jinling Hotel, and there is usually a long queue. Because I lived near Xinjiekou, I happened to get up early, so I went to the door to buy rice balls at five or six o'clock.
But even at five or six o'clock, there is already a team.
I think the taste is average and not worth the queue.
There is also the duck blood vermicelli soup that is a must-try in Nanjing. My mother and I randomly found a shop in Xinjiekou, but the duck blood vermicelli soup, I think It tastes delicious no matter how you make it, whether you order takeout at home or order it at the school cafeteria window, it's all delicious.
Hanbilou in Jianye District
Jianye District is just away from Xuanwu District and Xinjie in Xuanwu District The entrance is quite far, so it takes a little longer to take a taxi. The reason that attracted me to stay for one night at that time was that there were only three Laminated Buildings in the world. "One Laminated Tower represents a century-old dream."
The Hanbi Tower Hotel is built along the water, with the river on one side and the city on the other. The design is also very exquisite, integrating the style of the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties and the style of the Republic of China. It is very photogenic.
In the hotel lobby, the golden plum tree is paired with stone carvings, Ou music and screens next to it. Celadon and other antique decorations feel like they can take people back to the Six Dynasties, the era of "hoenix Tours on the Phoenix Platform" and "Real Famous Scholars were in Romance".
The hotel corridor is very easy to photograph, with bamboo forests, water features, etc. nearby.
The rooms are very spacious, which is a plus for me. If it is a river view room, there is a soft couch next to the window. You can lean on the soft couch and eat snacks provided by the hotel while watching the river view.
You can also overlook the Yangtze River from the top floor of the hotel, how romantic it is.
The easter egg is coffee!
clip coffee
I like this coffee very much. Their Spanish latte is super delicious.
urban camp
When I went to Nanjing, this store was selling cream dirty, which was one of the few in China at that time. But I think it's average.
Looking at the attractions I mentioned above, there are already many that I find interesting, but these are not even the most famous attractions in Nanjing. I did not go to the Nanjing Museum or the Six Dynasties Museum. , I didn’t go to Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, I didn’t go to Niushou Mountain...
The alias of "A Dream of Red Mansions" is "The Story of the Stone". Although Nanjing's alias "Stone City" has nothing to do with it, I always feel a mysterious fate. In "A Dream of Red Mansions", a stone that absorbs the essence of heaven and earth plunges into the rolling world to travel, and returns to the foot of Qinggeng Peak to silently record the joys and sorrows in the world. Nanjing, with its vast territory and rich resources, has witnessed countless rises and falls in history. Nanjing, inherent The changing and passing aspects of cultural character add to the dreamy beauty of this Fengyue City, which is both rich and elegant. The romance of the real celebrities and the splendor of the beautiful scenery, just like the landscape soaked in the aura of the Six Dynasties, have never dissipated here. A golden powder tower, in the city's mountains and forests.
“The beautiful land of Jiangnan, the imperial state of Jinling”, the stone city of Nanjing has walked through the fireworks and willows of the Six Dynasties, walked through the heavy blood and tears years, and is still waiting for tourists to visit again and again...
