Although I only stayed in Chengdu for less than forty-eight hours, this short journey was very enjoyable!
I took the high-speed train from Chongqing to Chengdu. During the one-hour journey, I saw green trees and mountains everywhere, and my mood suddenly became very good. I have taken the high-speed train between Zhejiang and Shanghai many times. Outside the window They are all high-speed rail, but I still prefer the feeling of being close to nature on the Sichuan-Chongqing High-Speed ​​Railway. The only drawback is that the signal is not very good.
When I arrived at the Chengdu High-speed Railway Station, I took a taxi to the hotel. I saw rows of green taxis on the road, and my mood became better. Taxis in Chongqing are all yellow, which is very famous. I have heard of it before. , but this is the first time I know that taxis in Chengdu are so bright green. In addition, I had a great chat with the driver's uncle in the car, and he helped me visit many gourmet restaurants. I have a better impression of Chengdu.

Jiazhou Ye Granny Bobo Chicken
I saw countless branches in the streets and alleys of Chengdu, and the one in Taikoo Li happened to be My hotel was opposite, so I dropped off my luggage at the hotel and went to have dinner. Since I was alone, I could share a table and there was no queue.
The way to pick up the meal is as shown in the picture. What I find inconvenient is that the dishes are not tagged, and there are many that I cannot recognize.

It was my first time to eat Bobo Chicken. It was delicious, not too spicy or too oily.

In addition, I also ordered a healthy chicken soup rice and fermented fermented poached eggs.
The former is very delicious, I almost finished it, and the latter, sweet eggs are eaten on birthdays and when children are born in my hometown, but the glutinous rice poached eggs here also have glutinous rice cubes in them, which reminds me of the ones eaten in kindergarten. Dessert fruit and glutinous rice.
And these only cost 36r, which was the first time I had a feel for the prices in Chengdu.

Qingshiqiao Laowafang Feichangfen Main Store
The driver’s uncle not only recommended this store to me , it also benefits the lifestyle of Chengdu people. They wake up in the morning and eat a bowl of steamed rice rolls with beef pot helmets and Bashi noodles.
The next day I got up too late, so I ordered takeout. Because it is a takeaway, you need to assemble the steamed rice rolls yourself. It is delicious beyond my expectation. I don't really like "noodles" at first, but this noodle is very slippery in the mouth. The beef hotpot is also delicious, but a bit oily.

Zhouzhuan crispy rice and potatoes
Before coming to Chengdu, I didn’t know that crispy rice and potatoes are also a specialty of Chengdu , on Jianshe Road Snack Street. Compared with the snack streets I visited in Chongqing, I think the stores on Jianshe Road in Chengdu made me more appetizing and there were not so many people.
I ordered the signature sweet and sour spicy flavor. I thought it was a bit hot and spicy when I first tasted it, but after a few more bites it was quite good. If you come to Jianshe Road Snack Street, you can give it a try. You don’t have to come here specially.

Egg Baked Cake
I saw this egg baked cake stall next to Zhou Dazhuan It is also the only delicacy I ate in Chengdu that was not recommended by my driver’s uncle. As a lover of egg dishes, the most anticipated snack in Chengdu is the egg cake.
Afraid of overturning, I chose the decent flavor of buttered pork floss. Freshly cooked eggs, paired with cream and shredded pork, how could it be unpalatable?


Luo Shi Maocai
I ordered cumin beef and added duck intestines. I don't like the taste of cumin beef very much, but the duck intestines and other side dishes are good. Maybe because I was hungry, I ate it with relish and thought it was very fragrant.
On the first day after returning home, I was thinking about what to order for takeout. The first thing I missed was the maocai in Chengdu, hahaha.


Moon Red Hoof Flower
Although I have always thought about Hoof Flower You can’t go wrong with any of them, but the taste of Yuehong hoof flower is still amazing to me. It is indeed the most delicious hoof flower in Chengdu. Hoof flower lovers should not miss it.



In addition to the above mentioned, the driver uncle also recommended Yan Taipo Guokui to me, but because I had breakfast After eating Guokui (and I didn't think it was particularly delicious), I didn't go to Wenshuyuan to eat at this restaurant. If you are interested, you can try it.
2. Open Chengdu in a leisurely way
The first stop in Chengdu is Taikoo Li, because the hotel I booked is there The Temple House . I have heard that The Temple House is the best hotel in Chengdu a long time ago. After experiencing it, I found that it is well-deserved. From the hotel location to the service attitude (although I think Chengdu people are generally very warm and friendly), from the public area furnishings to the hotel room preparation, everything is very good. satisfy!
At the hotel entrance, it was still daytime when I arrived, and the Chinese-style decoration didn't bother me. It looked better after dark.


The whole hotel is filled with a refreshing aroma, I like it very much!


I like the inside of the room even more. The atmosphere is dark and dark like a dungeon, but it is still warm.



The reason why the bed looks wrinkled is that I had already laid on it before I thought of taking pictures. The reason for taking pictures is...this bed is so comfortable! I woke up at ten o'clock the next day, but because the bed was so comfortable, I lay there until twelve o'clock.

I have also stayed in many flashy or underwhelming hotels, but The Temple House is completely worthy of being the “No. 1 hotel in Chengdu” in my heart. If you want to take a vacation in Chengdu, take a break , can be considered.

After dinner, it rained in Chengdu, so I held an umbrella and walked around Taikoo Li at night. Walking along the street, I encountered Cuiyuan, Our Bakery, Cheese Factory and Nike stores. I thought I was in Shanghai.
But the sweet water surface and the rabbit head sign on the other side of the street made me realize that I was in the beautiful Land of Abundance.

The next afternoon, I went to have afternoon tea at Louis Vuitton THE HALL in Taikoo Li. This is Louis Vuitton's first restaurant in China, and I went there with the mentality of "come here, give it a try".
As expected, it was very unpalatable. I took a small bite of each snack and thought about Yue...
The bag behind the back was specially taken out by the waiter, saying that it could be enjoyed while having afternoon tea, which was obviously for the purpose. The diners took photos.

The environment is also very average.

I complained to my friend on the spot, and my friend woke up the dreamer with his words.

The LV restaurant is located in the Guangdong Hall, a historical building in Taikoo Li. In the past, the place where Guangdong businessmen gathered and communicated in the southwest has now become an exhibition place for Western luxury brands, giving a sense of the intersection of China and the West. How amazing.


One of the activities I look forward to when I come to Chengdu is drinking tea in a bowl and enjoying the feeling of "stealing half a day's leisure". The most famous tea drinking The spot should be Heming Teahouse, but after reading dzdp’s reviews, I feel that it has become just a check-in spot. I followed my friend’s suggestion and went to Daci Temple. Coincidentally, Daci Temple is also in Taikoo Li. I walked directly to Daci Temple after leaving LV Hall.

Opposite Daci Temple is the bustling Taikoo Li, where major brand stores have modern and gorgeous buildings, and there is an endless stream of fashionistas. Beyond the red wall is the mortal world, but when you walk into the red wall, you are already outside the mortal world.
The "iaoxue" at Daci Tea House in the temple is delicious. It is fragrant jasmine tea. You have to brew it yourself and you can have unlimited refills.

The little flowers blooming remind me that "the world is as short as a spring dream, and the human relationship is as thin as autumn clouds."
Fortunately, three cups of tea are as good as a new flower. It tastes so good!

The leisurely drinking tea time finally made me understand the true meaning of "You will not enter Sichuan when you are young, and you will not leave Shu when you are old".

The "Exquisite Crown World" outside the temple was inscribed by Su Shi himself.

There is another allusion about Daci Temple, which is a marriage between Hou Jitu, the Minister of the Song Dynasty, when he visited Daci Temple. The Song Dynasty's "Yuxi Lunshi" records: One day when the autumn wind was blowing, Hou Jitu was leaning on the railing of the Daci Temple Tower, and a large tung leaf fell in the air. There is a poem on it that says: Wiping the green leaves and collecting the two moths is a matter of Yu's heart. He went down to the court and wrote the word "Acacia". This word cannot be written on stone, and this word cannot be written on paper. The book is written on the autumn leaves, hoping to catch the autumn wind. The caring people in the world will understand the meaning of lovesickness and die; the unfaithful people in the world will not understand the meaning of lovesickness. There is a heart and a heart that is negative, and I don’t know where it will end up. Hou Jitu took the poem Tung Ye home and treasured it. Five years later, Hou Jitu married Ren, a wealthy lady in Chengdu. Miss Ren is not only beautiful and intelligent, but also proficient in poetry, but she is often depressed about this involuntary marriage. Once, Miss Ren accidentally discovered the poem Tung Ye, and was extremely surprised. This is exactly the poem she wrote on a tung leaf when she visited Daci Temple five years ago. She brought the poem Tongye to Hou Jitu and asked: "This is a poem written by my concubine Ye, how can it be in a public place?" Hou Jitu replied: "I got it by leaning on the railing in the pavilion of Daci Temple." Ren The lady smiled happily. Hou Jitu then said: "I know that today's appointment of the king is not accidental." From then on, the couple became more affectionate, and Hou Jitu also had a prosperous official career.
"oetry on Tong Ye" is the quintessence of the Chinese nation. Of course I think it is beautiful, but compared with the poignancy of other literati anecdotes related to "oem on Tong Ye", the perfect love between Hou Jitu and Ren seems a bit dull. But the Tongye poems that happened in Chengdu are so happy, which also reflects that Chengdu in the minds of ancient literati always brings people the happiness of having their wishes come true.
On the day I leave, I want to go to Tianfu Airport. Outside the door where the Taikoo Li IFS Ferragamo store is, I can wait for the Taikoo Li IFS-Tianfu Airport shuttle. It leaves about half an hour and only costs 15r. Cover covers a journey of 60 to 70 kilometers, which takes about an hour and a half, which is much more cost-effective than taking a taxi! As soon as I arrived outside the door that day, the shuttle bus arrived. I also felt personally that Chengdu is a city where all my wishes come true, which is a small blessing.
Reminiscent of my experience of always having all my wishes come true in Osaka, another distant, distant, western city (Kansai Travels (Part 1)), maybe the western city has such magic power!
The SKP in Chengdu is the largest sunken building in Asia. Although there is nothing I want to buy, I went to take a look. So beautiful! I really like this spacious feeling.
I mentioned in the previous article that Taikoo Li reminds me of Shanghai, and SKP reminds me of the MALL in Dubai, which is also so big and empty. For the same store, you have to queue up to enter in Taikoo Li. When I walked in at SKP, the shopping guides from each store greeted me with their eyes.
What I like about Chengdu is that it is comparable to Shanghai in terms of prosperity, but the overall price is much lower.



3. Open Chengdu by sightseeing
This time I went to Chengdu and didn’t see many attractions. I went to Jinli at 8 or 9 in the evening. There were so many people that I gave up after walking a few steps inside. However, I unexpectedly discovered that there are many Tibetan food and Tibetan clothing shops outside Jinli. I went back to check and found out that Jinli is a gathering place for Tibetans.
Seeing so many Tibetan signboards under the dim lights at night, I suddenly felt that the "rich beauty" of Chengdu during the day has turned into the "mysterious beauty" of the night. It is worthy of being a "city under the snow-capped mountains".
Next time I have the opportunity to experience the authentic Tibetan style and Tibetan flavor with my friends!

On the morning of the last day, I was torn between Du Fu Thatched Cottage and the Panda Base. In the end, I felt that I had come to Chengdu, how could I not go see pandas. You must get up early to see pandas. After nine o'clock, the pandas will go into the house to rest.
I went more casually, and I didn’t wait in line for two hours just to see the famous giant pandas (forgive me for not knowing what they are called...). I hate queuing, hahaha. Before I went, I read the guide and bought the sightseeing tour. Tickets are required, but you have to queue for an hour to get on the sightseeing bus. It’s totally fine for me to walk inside.
I first saw the back of a giant panda. I was so cute at that time, it was so cute, I really wanted to touch it, so I was even more looking forward to seeing the front.

On the way there, the driver told me that although he was from Chengdu, he had never been to the panda base once. The pandas he had seen were all in the zoo and came back. On the way, the driver told me that if I had to choose between Du Fu Thatched Cottage and the Panda Base, he would advise me to go to Du Fu Thatched Cottage. He felt that Du Fu Thatched Cottage was not that commercialized.
But if I had to choose again, I would still go see the giant pandas. After all, this is my first time in Chengdu, and I still want to visit the most special aborigines!
