The history of Zhujiajiao dates back to the Song Dynasty, when a market was formed called Zhujia Village. During the period from Yuan Dynasty to Zheng Dynasty, Yuan Jin Zen Temple, Ximen Temple and other ancient temples were built successively. Wanli Ming Dynasty, officially built the town, named bamboo Pavilion, also known as bamboo Creek. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, it was officially named Zhujiajiao.
