The Tower of Hanoi was known as a classic educational toy that has been around since antiquity, drawing on certain Indian legends. When Brahma made the world, it is rumored to have fashioned three diamond pillars, upon which 64 golden discs stacked from largest to smallest in one pillar. To this end, Brahma commanded his Brahman to transfer the bottom disc to the other pillar in order of size. It was decided that no larger disc may be placed on a smaller disc, and movement between the three pillars shall only occur one by one. This is how the Tower of Hanoi originated.
The Tower of Hanoi has three pillars in which the left is stacked with N discs in order of size from largest to smallest. The goal is to rearrange the discs from the bottom to the right pillar in order from large to small.
