As a natural landscape lover, I want to talk about the capes in Okinawa today. Okinawa, an island far away from the mainland, is located at the junction of plates. The ocean currents are multi-swirling, and various capes have gradually formed. Capes have therefore become one of the regional characteristics of Okinawa. If you go to Okinawa, you must go to see the capes. Cape Chinen, Cape Manzamo, Cape Zanpa, especially the first two, are must-see spots for Tourists to Okinawa. Next, I will talk about the feelings of going to these places one by one.
Cape Chinen, a regular half-day tour in the south, is generally visited. It is free. To borrow the description of netizens, it is called "beautiful as if entering Hayao Miyazaki's animation." Cape Chinen is a very small attraction, so small that you can see it all at a glance. The nearby sea is relatively shallow, the sea surface is very colorful, and you can go to the grass. There are many small hearts on the grass, which is very pleasing. By the way, there are powered paragliders on the beach on the right side of the park. If you are interested, you can fly it.
Cape Manzamo, a must-see spot in the central and northern regions of Okinawa. There is a visitor center where you can eat, drink and rest. You need to buy a ticket to enter the scenic spot from the visitor center, which costs 100 yen per person. The most famous thing about Manza Cape is the elephant trunk. There are also wooden fences and grass inside. It looks good no matter how you look at it, and it is a good place to take pictures. The disadvantage is that you have to follow the planned route. The route is almost full of people taking pictures. In addition, you can't step on the grass or get too close to the shore.
It is Cape Zanpa, my favorite! Cape Zanpa is the most easily abandoned attraction because it is not "beautiful" enough, or not exquisite enough. The beauty of Cape Chinen is like being in an animation scene, and the beauty of Cape Manza is protected by layers. Only Cape Zanpa is as its name suggests, broken and rough, but its beauty is quiet, direct and powerful.
Cape Chinen has a pure white lighthouse, several tons of boulders thrown ashore by the typhoon, and a seaside cliff that is closer than Manza Cape. More importantly, Cape Chinen is relatively less crowded. If you don't like people everywhere, don't like artificially planned attractions, and want to quietly blow the sea breeze and empty yourself, then please go to Cape Zanpa. Walk slowly and sit at Cape Zanpa, and feel the power of nature. Everything is self-evident. After returning from Okinawa, I missed Cape Zanpa several times.
When you come out of the parking lot of Cape Zanpa, you will see a bus selling simple food and drinks. After the bus, there is a lighthouse on the left. You can go up for 300 yen/person. You can see the whole view of Cape Zanpa from the lighthouse (note that the lighthouse is closed at 4:30 pm). Going to the right, there is a road that you don't know where it will lead to at first glance. After walking for a few minutes, you can see a small circle of stone walls on the left, that is, near the sea. You can sit on it. There is a fence and you can see the cliffs on the seaside very closely. People who go to Cape Zanpa basically stay at the lighthouse. If you want to sit quietly, go to the stone wall. There are almost no people there. It is definitely worth going!
