Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and has an extensive public transportation system. The main bus routes serving Bazhuang include Bus Route 420 (Hanoi Bus Terminal), Bus Route 658 (Khota Hong Cau Bus Terminal), Bus Route 739 (Tien Muu Bus Terminal), and Bus Route 822 (Tien Muu Bus Terminal). If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use Grab, one of the most popular ride hailing apps in Hanoi.
You have several options for getting to Bat Trang, the famous pottery village, from Hanoi:
1. Motorbike or bicycle:
Bat Trang, around 15 km (9.3 miles) from Vietnam's capital is a wonderful place to spend visiting its ceramics work shops or doing some pot throwing of your own. If you take the Red River Causeway Road, the scenery is enjoyable and pretty. Such a journey is something that, if done by matte bike or luminous bicycle, will usually take you between 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. If you desire to catch sight of bustling rural activity happening a few kilometres away from Hanoi, then this is an option.
2. Bus:
Take bus 47 from Long Bien bus station. Bus tickets are also ridiculously cheap with prices from 7,000 to 10,000 VND (0.30 to 0.40 USD). It’s 45 minutes to an hour according to traffic. Transit buses rarely have English and can be crowded and intimidating in Hanoi. That said, it’s still quite the deal.
