I have never seen any city build such a large park in the city center! There are mountains and water, gardens and greenhouses, a pet paradise, and an equestrian arena here. The park has also transformed the old World Expo site into an exhibition hall. It truly meets all the needs of migrant workers for leisure, relaxation, parent-child walking, and a whole day of fun!
Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park: Address: No. 50 Jikun Road, Shanggang New Village, Pudong New Area, Shanghai; Transportation: Exit 4 of County Expo Avenue Station on Metro Line 13; Parking lots: There are 6 parking lots in the park, including the integrated parking lot. The integrated parking lot needs to be reserved in advance on Xiaoshang.
Admission: No admission or reservation is required for the park. However, the Twin Mountains within the park require a one-day advance reservation (tickets for the second day are booked at 10am every day), and tickets for the greenhouse garden need to be purchased in advance. Admission to Shenyuan requires a ticket (night tour is open from 19:00-21:15); There are also sightseeing buses in the park that stop at attractions such as the Magic Park, Twin Mountains, Visitor Center, Guangdong East Bridge, Expo Park, Shenyuan, Music Forest, Greenhouse Garden, and other must see attractions within the park.
Gemini Mountain requires a one-day advance reservation, with an altitude of 48 meters. There is a waterfall at the foot of the mountain and an observation deck at the top of the mountain. You can overlook the center of Shanghai. You can also watch the sunset from the observation deck at night.
Greenhouse gardens require advance purchase of tickets. The opening hours are from 09:00 to 17:00 on Mondays. Three venues in the greenhouse garden are closed (excluding statutory holidays): Haishisha, Yunshang Forest, and Yunwu Canyon. Don't miss the underwater passage from Haishisha to Yunshang Forest. It is very suitable for taking photos.
In addition, the lawn next to the Russian Pavilion and the Starlight Lawn next to Twin Mountains are both open for camping. Regarding pets: You need to bring your dog ID and vaccine certificate. Except for the dog park, pets are not allowed in other areas.
The French and Italian pavilions will hold themed exhibitions from time to time. If you enjoy visiting exhibitions, don't miss them
