If you ask what places in Busan are worth recommending, the must-visit attractions recommended by the editor must be here - Busan Yongdusan Park. Busan Yongdusan Park covers an area of more than 69,119 square meters and is located in the central street of 1-2 Gwangbok-dong 2-ga, Jung-gu, southern Busan Metropolitan City. It belongs to the prosperous downtown area. Although "Yongdusan" has more than 700 species of vegetation, pine trees have been the main ones since ancient times, so it is also commonly known as Songdan Mountain, also known as Caoliang Mountain.

The origin of the name "Yongdusan" is said to be because the terrain here is like the head of a giant lying dragon facing the sea. And its peak looks like a dragon preparing to fly from the sea to the sky.Because Busan has good weather all year round, you can often climb Yongdusan here to see the entire city landscape and the nearby ocean scenery. You can even see Tsushima Island in Japan from the sightseeing hall of Busan Tower.

Attractions Bell Tower

The first thing you see when you enter the park is the Yongdusan Park Monument, and the bell tower behind it is the representative building of Yongdusan Park. It was established in December 1997 through the fundraising activities of Busan citizens, thus becoming the symbol of Busan's spirit - the Busan Citizen Bell. Every year on New Year's Eve, many Korean people will gather here to wait for the first bell of the New Year. Pray for happiness and well-being in the coming year. Ordinary Tourists will not see the "bell ringing" activity here.

The venue next to it is a place for citizens to relax on a daily basis. Many elderly people will play chess, chat, and even dance with strong Korean ethnic characteristics here. This is usually a must-go place for friends who come to Busan for the first time.

Attractions: Bronze Statue of General Yi Sun-sin

After passing the bell tower, continue walking forward. What you see below is one of the most representative buildings in Longtoushan Park, a majestic bronze sculpture standing here - the statue of General Yi Sun-sin.

Perhaps many tourists are unfamiliar with this historical figure of South Korea. In the minds of Koreans, General Yi Sun-sin is a national hero who once saved the country when the motherland was in dire straits. Now the geographical location of the statue of General Yi Sun-sin, the Duke of Chungmu, is just right to overlook the sea in the distance, which is a spiritual symbol of defending the country and the nation.

Attractions Jiaolong Statue

Go ahead and you will reach the Jiaolong statue in the park. It is as lifelike as the traditional Chinese dragon statues. There is a free Busan tourist map behind the sculpture for everyone to read. It is also another place where you can get a free map in addition to the tourist kiosk in the Nopodong Station of Busan Line 1.

Attractions Busan Tower

Busan Tower - Like the Namsan Tower in Seoul, it is a landmark building in Busan. It is 120 meters high and stands at the highest point of the entire park. The observation deck on the top of Busan Tower was built with reference to the pagoda of Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju, South Korea. From this we can also see the deep influence of Buddhism on Korean culture.

After buying a ticket at the ticket office downstairs, you can take the elevator directly to the top floor. In the tower's observation deck, you can see the main street in the center of Busan and the scenery of the city of Busan, such as Jagalchi Market, International Market, Steel Drum Market and Yeongdo Bridge.

Of course, if you arrange your time to visit at night, you can see almost the entire night view of Busan on the Busan Tower. It is very charming. The venue next to it is a place for citizens to relax on a daily basis. Many elderly people will play chess, chat, and even provoke dances with strong Korean ethnic characteristics here. This is usually a must-go place for friends who come to Busan for the first time.

Attractions Clock Flowerbed

There are actually many clock-shaped buildings in Yongdusan Park, but this fashion-shaped flowerbed is chosen as the best place for taking photos by many tourists at home and abroad because of its brilliant colors, creative shape, and the fact that it forms a straight line with the Busan Tower and the general statue, which can be included in the photo at the same time.

Attractions Love Locks

When we arrived at the bottom of Busan Tower, in addition to the majestic Busan Tower that deeply attracted our attention, the various love locks and the plastic peach hearts with sweet words and vows hanging on them also made people's eyes bright. Looking at these countless love locks, everyone can imagine that countless couples' wishes are placed here.

Features Anime House

There are many special anime houses here, including a house where you can draw sketches and avatars, a house that sells Doraemon and Hello Kitty anime products, a house that sells cute small products, a house where you can make ceramic handicrafts by yourself, etc., which are very cute.

Features Mountain Elevator

Busan's Yongdusan Park is built at an altitude of 69 meters, but don't worry about getting tired from climbing. Because there is a "mountain climbing elevator" specially designed for tourists who need to go up the mountain. This is not a facility that every mountain has. It really makes the editor who is not very athletic feel happy to complete this interview, so I will introduce it to you as a feature.

This elevator is not big, it is an escalator for one person. There are walking stairs on both sides. Just go up to the top where the elevator ends. There will be prompts in Korean, Japanese, English, and Chinese on the green canopy along the way. Even if you don't understand Korean, you can still visit Yongdusan Park well.

Features Self-service camera

Friends who come here to Travel should bring their favorite cameras to take pictures everywhere. Here I recommend an interesting new camera to everyone, which is this oversized camera that can carry your location information. This screen is it. You can take pictures according to the relevant information displayed on it, and then send it to yourself via E-MAIL. Isn’t it an interesting experience? Curious friends come and try it and capture a special moment!

Resting Space

Speaking of resting space, Yongdusan Park is really very user-friendly. When you are tired of walking in the scenic area, you can immediately find a place to rest. It is very clean and comfortable. Not only that, but each resting place is well integrated with the surrounding scenery and facilities. For example, the design of the seats under the Busan Tower is very romantic.

Warm Tips

The park has elevators that only go up, not down. Please wear sports shoes when you go hiking! There is a dressing room (restroom) next to the automatic camera next to the clock tower. The left one is for women and the right one is for men. There are facilities for disabled people inside. The overall sanitary environment is good. There is no entrance fee for the main scenic area. Only the "Busan Tower Observation Hall" requires an entrance fee. The following is the ticket price list:
