Last November, my friend and I came to Krabi and found a Lagoon Trial that we had to go to. When you come to Krabi, you must come to Railay Beach. There are not only other mountains, but also red soil rainforests. The location is on the Lagoon trail on the way to Railay Beach, so you will definitely pass by.
Going up and down the mountain along the rope, there are two destinations, one is Viewpoint and the other is Lagoon. The rainforest is right between the two destinations. It is not recommended to stay in Railay Beach, which is relatively closed and lacks fireworks. It is recommended to stay in Ao Nang, where restaurants, bars and night markets are available.
Go to Railay Beach from Ao Nang. There are kiosks selling round-Trip long-tail boat tickets to Railay Beach at the corner of Ao Nang Beach and other places, and motorcycles can be parked nearby. The boat ticket is 200 baht round trip, and it takes 7-8 minutes to drive to Railay Beach, which is very convenient. At this time, Thailand has just gotten rid of the rainy season, and occasional showers keep the rainforest moist. Many hikers passed by here, and the rain and mud had already mixed into a ball.
My friend and I really liked this rainforest and the light and shadows it cast, so we didn't hesitate to take photos. Even in Puerto Rico and the Philippines, I didn't walk through the red land rainforest. I have to say that I have an obsession with red land, the desert in Utah, Havasu in Arizona, the rainforest in Krabi, Thailand... Who knows where I will go to find the next red land, maybe Australia.
