It's really red, and this week is the best time to admire the bare cypress trees. Qingxi Country Park is the only suburban park in Shanghai that features wetlands. Nearly one-third of the area is covered by water. The park is centered around Dalian Lake, connecting surrounding wetlands, lakes, forests, and fish ponds, with farmland, rivers, residential buildings, lakes, beaches, and islands criss crossing. Detailed address: Qingxi Suburban Park is located at 500 Zilian Road, Jinze Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai, adjacent to Dongfang Lvzhou and Zhujiajiao.
Transportation Guide: Take Metro Line 17 (towards Dongfang Amusement Park), exit from Dongfang Amusement Park Exit 2, walk 66 meters, transfer to Jinze Line 7 (towards Qingxi Country Park), and get off at Xijiao Wild Park (about 14 stops). It is inconvenient to walk and it is recommended to drive by yourself. Parking lots: There are a total of 5 parking lots. P1 parking lot is the closest to the core scenic area, but there are basically no parking spaces after 9 o'clock. Suggest parking at Party B, the parking fee is $2 per day.
The scenic area has a large area. It takes nearly an hour to walk from P2 parking lot to Shuilin. If you are tired, you can take a scenic electric car for 30 yuan per person, or rent a shared bicycle for 15 yuan per hour. Opening hours: 8.30~17.30, closing at 4:30 pm. Ticket price: Free admission. Highlight: The core scenic area of the park is "Shuilin", located within the ecological protection zone of the park, covering an area of more than 60 acres. It is mainly composed of waterproof tree species such as pond spruce and other waterproof tree species. Water forests alternate with seagulls and herons, forming the Shanghai area. Unique characteristic landscape.
At the turn of autumn and winter every year, the emerald green water spruce turns into a fiery red. This is the most colorful season of the year. This water forest is full of poetry. The fiery red and golden water spruce is reflected in the water, like a natural oil painting. A beautiful autumn fairy tale is staged here. Tip: There are farmhouses and B&Bs inside. For dining or accommodation, if you contact the boss, you can drive directly into the core scenic area.
