Gyokusen-do is about 30 minutes away from downtown Naha and parking is free, making it a great spot for elderly people and children who love walking. When I went there, I didn't buy the ticket in advance, so I bought an adult ticket on site for 2,300 yen (I actually forgot what the price was, but it was the on-site price). I suggest buying it online first, which will be much cheaper. It seems that you can buy Yuquan Cave alone, but I haven’t done any special research.
It’s very big inside! The first stop is Yuquan Cave, where you will be able to take a free photo. When you exit the cave, you can get a free black and white photo. You need to buy large color photos yourself. Note: You can enter after watching the film. You will walk up very wet stairs, so it is recommended to wear sneakers or non-slip shoes to visit this attraction. It's very hot inside. My boyfriend explained that it's hot because the underground is close to the center of the earth. I'll just believe him. There's a natural landscape inside with a bunch of stalactites, which are quite beautiful.
But when I went there, there were not many places with lights (blue and purple lights) on. Maybe because it was almost closing time, so I took fewer photos. It was downhill all the way and I was afraid to walk uphill. Fortunately, there was an escalator going up. At the exit, someone will ask you if you want to change your photo or buy a color photo. After you come out, you can see the snake wine production factory. There are many places where you can do DIY with your kids, such as digging pearls, firing glass in a kiln, feeding fish, and renting yukatas for taking photos. My boyfriend and I went to feed the fish with foot skin, and then there are places selling souvenirs and This is a glass bead shop. For some reason, there are a lot of Pikachu products here.
