The Yingdi Ge Hotel in Shangcheng, Hangzhou, although the rooms are small, they are very exquisite!

The Hangzhou Shangcheng Indigo Hotel is a designer hotel under InterContinental Hotels, located relatively close to West Lake. When I arrived at the hotel, I requested the front desk to upgrade my room. I saw a suite on the platform, but the front desk still refused. The reason is that the hotel did not participate in the membership system upgrade, and the hotel gave me a $15 meal voucher as compensation. I don't know if other Indigo hotels have the same regulations.

This hotel has only 6 floors in total. The layout of the hall is relatively compact. There is no lounge, only one restaurant. The buffet breakfast is the same as the Indian restaurant, which is located next to the lobby bar. The hotel opened in 2022 and the decoration facilities are very new. The design of the hall is unique, with light pink hammocks and sofas, fireplace, ceramic jar art design in the center of the hall, and arched entrance design on the first floor. I originally planned to swim, but after checking, I found out that the swimming pool was a mini pool, but in the end, I didn't swim. The regret of this hotel is that there is no lounge and there is no view from the room (possibly due to limited floor height). I think everything else is fine. After staying for two days, the room was cleaned quite cleanly and the service was normal.
