Beijing Yansha Kempinski Hotel Review: Renovated in 2019, Cheap and High Quality

Beijing Lufthansa Center Kempinski has been open for more than 30 years. It is the first Kempinski to land in China. It was fully renovated in 2019 and the guest room facilities are relatively new. I remember that at the beginning of the year, the price was comparable to that of the Four Seasons next door, but now it is even lower than that of Westin. The cost performance can be said to be full. In general, the service exceeded expectations, the catering is very good, the German style is detailed, and the transportation is also very convenient.

✨✨Advantages
1️⃣Beside Liangma River, the first floor of the hotel is directly connected to Lufthansa Shopping Mall, and it is also close to Good Luck Street and Blue Harbor
2️⃣The lobby was designed by I.M. Pei, highlighting "let light do design", and the geometric glass dome penetrates natural light to illuminate the lobby, which is very atmospheric
3️⃣There are many large mirrors in the room, and the layout is very reasonable. Many details in the room highlight the rigor of the Germans. The minibar is free, the room card is wooden, and the postcards with Beijing elements are very nice
4️⃣There are robots that can deliver takeout to the floor (rare in Beijing five-star hotels), and the efficiency is relatively high
5️⃣There is a German-style cafe food gallery, the Black Forest cake is very famous, but the taste feels ordinary
6️⃣The breakfast is relatively rich, open until 11 o'clock, the environment and lighting are also very good, and there is a small garden outside
7️⃣The hotel has two fitness areas, one on the 18th floor and the other in the basement fitness club of another building. When I checked in, the 18th floor was not open, so I went to the Urban Pulse Fitness Club. The gym and yoga room are both large, and there are good reviews for squash courts and golf training halls
8️⃣The staff are very good, and the front desk and reception are well staffed. I was given a room upgrade when I checked in, and the check-out was delayed until two o'clock. The night bed service is very considerate, and the lighting is very comfortable

✨✨Disadvantages
I didn't feel any obvious shortcomings after checking in, and even if there were minor flaws, they were all within the acceptable range. Although the room area is slightly smaller than hotels of the same grade, it does not have a big impact. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was under maintenance and could not be used.

✨✨To summarize the hotels in Liangmaqiao, I feel that the check-in experience is basically ranked by the distance from the river: Bulgari> Four Seasons> Kempinski> Westin> Hilton> HNA Marriott. In terms of cost-effectiveness, Kempinski and Hilton are recommended.
