I passed by Taoran Pavilion this afternoon. Following the principle of not missing out on passing by, I took out my annual pass and went in! The old rule is to go skiing twice on the Great Snow Mountain before entering. Today should be winter vacation. At noon, many elementary school students were skiing on the Great Snow Mountain after school, but they didn't queue up. Before going to the snow capped mountains, I have to think about it. I believe I will run with my head down for the first time. Only then can you calm down on your second trip... Anyway, it's just pure happiness.
Location of the Great Snow Mountain: Enter the north gate of Taoran Pavilion, and the children's play area on the right is free. After playing in the snow mountain, continue south. After crossing the bridge, you will find an ice slide that costs $1.5 per ride. I have played ice slides in Zizhuyuan, Aosen, and Taoranting. Personally, I think Taoran Pavilion is still far away. The longer and more powerful Purple Bamboo Garden and Taoran Pavilion are similar, with Aosen being the gentlest and ultimately stopping on his own.
The ice rink in Taoranting has not yet opened today, and the ice surface is not very cold. The ski resort of the Ice and Snow Carnival is not located next to the ice slide. I have to continue heading south, but due to time constraints, I didn't go there. From a distance, I don't think the area is large. Not as big as Zizhuyuan. Today's walk is over. The annual park pass is $30 and the Taoran Pavilion ticket is $0.5.
