Peking University, abbreviated as Peking University, is located at No. 5 Siyuan Huayuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. The first national comprehensive university in modern times. Peking University was established on July 3, 1898. The first name is the auditorium of Beijing Normal University. After the Xinhai Revolution, it was renamed Peking University in 1912. In 1938, it was renamed National Southwest Associated University. In 1952, it became a comprehensive university based on humanities and sciences. On April 3, 2000, Peking University merged with the former Beijing Medical University to establish a new Peking University.

Boya Building, another symbol of Peking University, originated from the uncle of Bo, a philosophy professor at Yanjing University at that time.
