Bukit Timah can also be a hill located near the center of the main island of Singapore, with an altitude of 163.63 meters, the highest point in Singapore. There are many villas and private apartments in this area. (Singapore Cottage is also here)

Bukit Timah Railway Station (Bukit Timah Railway Station)

Bukit Timah Railway Station Community Node (Rail Corridor) opens on July 1, 2022. Includes: two listed buildings - Bukit Timah Railway Station and Railway Staff Quarters; two gardens - Kampong Garden and Herb and Spice Garden; courtyard shelter with toilets; event lawn.

Relics Introduction:
The well-preserved Bukit Timah Railway Station building was built in 1932 and is one of the two existing railway stations in Singapore. In addition to its key architectural and railway elements, the railway station has been carefully restored and reinvented as a heritage gallery for visitors to learn about its history and the history of the railway corridor. In the building you can see restored elements such as the track switching pole, the ticket booth and a replica of the signal diagram in the signal room, which the former station master used to control railway traffic. Please note that entry to the signal room is not allowed, but you can observe its interior from the entrance. At the front of the building you can find more restored features such as the station sign, sign poles and a replica of the station wagons that once ran on the tracks.

The small colonial train station, located on the old Singapore-Malaysia Line, is now a long urban trail. It is very popular with local citizens and tourists. It is a popular photo stop and a good place for cycling and walking.

The protected railway staff quarters, formerly staff quarters, have been converted into a cafe called "1932 STORY" with a rustic and relaxed atmosphere. Key architectural elements of the building have also been restored and improvements made to make the building more accessible.
