Temple layout: Miaoying Temple faces north and south, covers an area of ​​about 13,000 square meters, and consists of two parts: the main courtyard and the pagoda courtyard. The central axis is arranged from south to north, the mountain gate, the bell and drum tower, the Heavenly King Hall, the Great Awakening Hall, the Seven Buddha Hall and the Tower Courtyard. The mountain door has three rooms wide, with eight-character screen walls on the east and west sides, and a stone-carved plaque on the middle door, saying "Imperially Given Miaoying Chan Forest". The current mountain gate was rebuilt in 1998.

Now after many renovations, tourists are welcomed with a new attitude. Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00 (entry will be stopped at 16:30) and will be closed on Mondays.
