I went to Boracay for a holiday. The direct flight from Shanghai to Caticlan was very good. The departure time was 13:30 and the return time was 8:30, with a flight time of 3 and a half hours. Fill in the Philippines eTravel information in advance and save the QR code screenshot! Since we only bought the travel agency's air and hotel products, the Tour guide did not inform us in advance, which led to us filling in the information at the airport in a sweat, and we couldn't connect to the network. Don't mention how desperate we were.
Find out the process of going to the island in advance: Get off the plane-take a car to the pier-take a boat to the island! After picking up the luggage at the airport, there is an official van outside the door, which can be taken to the boat terminal, 100p per person. After arriving at the pier, there will be a black man at the door asking you to buy a boat ticket and fill in the form. Remember, ignore them and go directly to the lobby to buy it! 500p per person! Therefore, friends who have the conditions must book a pick-up, and don't worry about anything.
You can share a tuk-tuk, which is cheap and fun! There is only one main road in Boracay, so you can hail a tuk-tuk at any section of the road. Shared rides cost 20p per person, and chartered rides start at 100p. Remember to bargain. There are many sea projects, and there are basically black guys at the entrance of each hotel. Ask a few more and compare prices. Taking care of friends who are afraid of heights, we only played 3 sea projects, namely sunset sailing, island hopping, and diamond cruise.
- About sunset sailing: The gathering time is 16:40, and we strongly requested to board the boat at 17:40, so we waited for a long time at the pier. Don't board the boat in advance, because the sunset will not start until after 18:00.
- About island hopping, the order is: half an hour of sea fishing, taking photos on Puka Beach, snorkeling in the middle of the sea for half an hour (the water is very muddy and the visibility is low), eating (the environment is very bad, like northern Myanmar) Crystal Island Magic Island. Be sure to bring a large quick-drying bath towel and get on the boat immediately after snorkeling. It was very windy and cold after the boat started, and I almost caught a cold. Bring some dry clothes and take photos on Crystal Island~
- Regarding Diamond Yacht, let me focus on this unpopular project. I didn't see any recommendation on Xiaohongshu. It costs 1250p per person. It is actually a small cruise ship that can accommodate more than 100 people. The first floor is air-conditioned, and the second and third floors are outdoor for watching the sunset. There are snacks on the boat (not enough to eat), resident singers, and you can sing karaoke by yourself. You can also jump into the sea to swim and snorkel in the middle of the sea. The overall atmosphere is to feel the party.
