JR Hotel Nikko Sapporo, a city high-altitude view hot spring hotel

I have been in Hokkaido for 4 years, and my favorite hotel in Sapporo is the JR Hotel Nikko. You can take the JR from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo Station directly. You can reach the check-in lobby on the 1st floor by heading to the south exit without leaving the station. The 23rd to 34th floors are guest rooms, the 22nd floor is the high-altitude hot spring, and the 35th to 36th floors are restaurants. I celebrate my birthday there every year, and the food is okay.

This building is the tallest building in Sapporo, so the view is superb. The view of high-rise hotels in downtown Tokyo is a modern urban feeling, and the view of staying at the JR Hotel Nikko in winter is the city snow scene of the Hiyori movie. This is why "Love Letter" and Netflix's "First Love" were filmed in Hokkaido. Hokkaido is the No. 1 city suitable for kissing in my mind.

JAL guests are charged 1910 yen to go to the high-altitude hot spring on the 22nd floor (you can enter the hot spring pool unlimited times on the day of check-in). Non-check-in guests are charged 3070 yen, and only one entry and exit is allowed.

High-altitude hot springs are a common activity for me in Hokkaido. After going to school or skiing during the day, it is so comfortable to take a hot spring bath at night. After taking a hot spring bath, you will fall asleep when you look at the night view of the city. The high-altitude hot spring experience on the 22nd floor of Japan Airlines is one of the top 10 must-do activities in Hokkaido in winter.
