There are many islands in Thailand, each with its own characteristics. Phuket is large, so there are many types of things to do; Samui is small but exquisite, and there are diving in Nangyuan Island and Tao Island; so what are the characteristics of Krabi as a slightly niche Tourist attraction? Recently, I have recommended a few Krabi guides. Today, I will start with accommodation.
If you want to talk about high-end hotels, Raya Weide must be the first choice, but the five-digit price during the Spring Festival is really beyond the budget. The hotels in Ao Nang Beach are different from those in Samui. There is no private beach to play, so I simply tried the cost-effective villa. There are two such hotels with relatively high reviews in Krabi, De Malee Villa and Poonsiri Varich Pool Villa. I chose the Poonsiri Varich two-bedroom villa. This hotel is very small and far away from the downtown, so it is very quiet.
There is a large swimming pool in the yard. The room is very spacious, and it is more than enough for adults to splash around with children. The first floor is a super large room, living room, and kitchen, and there is a lot of space for the family to move around. The second floor is a room with a bathroom, which is more than enough for 2 people. There is also a small terrace, where you can chat and watch the stars on the lounge chair at night, which is very comfortable. After seeing the room type, the baby said it was simply his dream room. One of the highlights of the hotel is that you can make an appointment for a floating breakfast. It is really the first time to have breakfast in the swimming pool. The waiter carefully arranged the dishes, 300 tsp per serving, which is very delicious and super large! Three people can't finish 2 servings!
The room is very clean, but a common problem for this type of room is ants, so don't put food on the table. Another point is that it is not by the sea, about 2km away from the main street of Ao Nang. The shuttle bus is available every hour, but it stops at the night market, which is a bit far from the main street, so if you want to go to the main street, you have to ask the front desk to call a two-wheeled car, 200 tsp, which can carry 6 people. The hotel also provides motorcycle rentals, 300 per day, which is slightly more expensive than Ao Nang, but considering the convenience of borrowing and returning, it is actually quite cost-effective.
There is a 7-11 and Mini BigC at the exit of the hotel alley. There are also vegetable markets and many restaurants not far along the main road, so life is very convenient.
